  1. I have been enjoying downloading and installing some of the car mods and sound mods from here. I have a question though. I have noticed that the game is starting to decrease in frame rate and stutter as I have been adding the cars in. Are the mods of higher quality and putting a strain on my video card? The card is a PNY Xlr8 Geforce GTS 250 1gb card. The processor is an AMD Athlonx2 7850 black edition at 2.8 ghz and the PSU is a 585 watt. Also have 4 gb memory. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  2. I have gotten the program to run pretty well on my system. I must run as administrator but I can modify most cars. The Saleen SC coupe and convert won't modify as well as the 69 and 71 Vettes. Minor issues in my eyes. I have noticed that sometimes it is a good idea when you are done saving your mods to go and look thru a couple more cars in the list then come back to the one you just modified and save it again.

  3. 66 Vette was done but lights stay open. Would like to see if someone could do the car with lights being closed. Also the GNX has been done but is the fast and furious version and not very accurate to the original.

  4. I am having the same problem as electro. Here is the contents of the config file.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

    <configuration>

    <configSections>

    <sectionGroup name="userSettings" type="System.Configuration.UserSettingsGroup, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" >

    <section name="TDUeditor.Properties.Settings" type="System.Configuration.ClientSettingsSection, System, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089" allowExeDefinition="MachineToLocalUser" requirePermission="false" />

    </sectionGroup>

    </configSections>

    <connectionStrings>

    <add name="TDUeditor.Properties.Settings.carDataConnectionString"

    connectionString="Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=|DataDirectory|\carData.mdb;Persist Security Info=True"

    providerName="System.Data.OleDb" />

    </connectionStrings>

    <userSettings>

    <TDUeditor.Properties.Settings>

    <setting name="locality" serializeAs="String">

    <value>US</value>

    </setting>

    <setting name="tdupath" serializeAs="String">

    <value />

    </setting>

    </TDUeditor.Properties.Settings>

    </userSettings>

    </configuration>

    There's no directory listed. My install path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited

    I can get into the program change stuff around and save data but when I go to save car that's when the error comes up. Also if I hit save data then move onto a different car when I come back to the previous one the values have gone back to stock.

  5. I was on the atari TDu forums and someone had a 512bb and a 63-67 vette coupe in their garage.I asked about them and they said come here but I cannot find them. Anyone know where to get them or if they're still available? Any help is greatly appreciated.
