Players craving a play session with Test Drive Unlimited, Atari's upcoming racer of the self-styled Massively Open Online Racing (M.O.O.R.) genre should fire up their Xbox 360s; there's a demo on the Marketplace. In the demo, players will be able to play off and online on 40 miles of Oahu's roadways. Not only will players be able to race against AI or human controlled opponents, but also visit a Lamborghini showroom to test out some of the higher end rides.

The full game, set to release this September for the Xbox 360, will feature over 100 licensed cars and bikes. Each vehicle will be customizable with whatever option come standard from the actual manufacturer. With over 1000 miles of Oahu's tree-lined, sun-soaked roadways available to explore and race across on or offline, players will certainly have plenty to look forward to if they find the demo to their liking.

In addition to simply racing around in the full game, you'll also be able to customize your own parameters and publish them online. Once active, any online competitors can enter your challenge, trying to best your top time to claim the purse. It's certainly sounds promising, but now you can try it out yourself. For free

  2. Holy... :oook:

    The Cinque has no interior

wheels don't move but the rims have motion blur

Reused a crap load of TDU1 textures (Carpet, Suspension, Brakes, Wheels etc)

    Flat birds anyone?

    LOD stuff looks horrible

    Rain is flat burry stuff

Okay, this is offically TDU 1.5 until I see more progress of decent visuals. I appraciate and I am happy that they are doing a TDU2. Though even Forza 3 or Shift never showed screens of missing parts and flat horrible stuff.

Either eden games runs crap GFX on images or there is no AA.. I tell you right now, when I have it I am so going to force 16xQ on it.

  3. ;312954']Worries me, about the cars. On that "'confirmed list" thing, how many variations of Pagani's do we have? A lot? And how about Audi? Oh, there's two TT's.

They should do the FM3 thing and laser scan the cars. Accurate and quick. Oh, wait, I forgot - this is Atari, where they're allergic to "quick."

    ATARI FTW

    WE KNOW THAT

wE hope not happen this time:rolleyes:

  4. Ken & Barbie :lol::lol::lol:

Yeah I do agree with everything you are saying.

We will see. I don't think this trailer says much about any handling of the cars. It's unfinished and it's a trailer ;)

I love this scene. Roads here looks incredible. Lightning/shadow also look very nice. And... it looks like the passenger is almost taking his head out of the window :D

I wonder if it's any cool features as being a passenger other than pushing left/right buttons, like maybe a recording feature. Then I'm thinking... Street racing :D Hopefully you will be able to finetune your cars :)

    ME TOO

    I LOVE THAT TOO:excited:
