bump

anyone got an idea what i need to change?

Just started using the performance editor, love it.

However, i added a bit of power, torque and upped the rpm a little.

However, the shifting and off power rpm decreace is very slow, anyone know what I need to adjust to fix this?

Your CD key has probably been blacklisted, meaning that you can't go online with that CD key again.

I dont even type my CD key in though..

Thats what you get for hacking, but i'll help. Did u install the game correctly, and did u download and install the 1.66a patch? if not it's on the forum, but u have to find it urself..

Ok guys, im gonna be honest.

The otherday - I was on tdu (its a legal version) And wanted to try the megapack before I bought it.

So I did, but after an hour or so I got bored of not being able to go online.

I deleted the hack - my dave, and tdu.

Made a fresh install -

However, now the tdu servers are unavailible, and I cant get online :(

- Is this due to me having a hack?

Ive started a new game with a gamespy box ticked.

So - how do i connect to say...a online crusie?

Ok, I thought id have one more crack at tdu - and i fixed the problem :D

Heres how for those ina similar situation + for future referance.

Basically, tdu doesn't get along with my sound card. VIA HD Audio deck (as above)

So i ran the sound through a line6 add on card, works a treat :D

Hey guys - im new to tdu.

I cant seem to get this mod to work. I eariler installed a crx which worked a treat.

I think im on 1.66

- I loaded the files - nothing happens, and when i try to install the phisics pack, it makes my game crash.

Any help would be much appreicated as i own 2 eg civics myself.

Hey guys, im back again. Just been hit with an urge to play tdu again.

Going back to that spec list, im running VIA HD Audio deck too so it might be something to do with that.

Where is this option located? I found 5.1 surround in the control panel, but it had no impact :/

Ive tryed pluging some headphones into both the speaker socket and computer socket with still no tdu sound :(.

DirectX did nothing either :(

Im updating a few staggaling windows updates, then ill test it again.

Also, my computer is good enough.

Hi again, I gave the game to my friend for a day. He expirenced no problems with sound/crashes, so its not the disc.

I deleted the radial.cdb file - however no change appeared.

I turned off my sound drivers, however, it still crashed. (I seem to have about 3-4 sound related drivers, is this normal?)

I just tryed turning all sercurity and auto running programs with no avail.

Edit: im downlaoding DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer now.

ive not even got to the stage of buying a car yet :P

Ill try re intalling it.

Reinstalled - it now will play for 5mins, no sound, then encounters an error, as before. (sorry fort he double posts)

Everything seems ok untill you get on to the menu - then theres no sound.

Ive just bought my tdu dvd, and a new computer. Ive tried Live for speed - that works perfectly.

Also, when in game, after 5mins, a error message will appear saying its encountered a problem (which im presuming is sound related)

Ive heard that "if you add tdu to alchemy, it fixes it"

All sound settings are turned on, both windows and in-game.

EDIT: Also, just before you get to the menu, the screen goes black for half a sec.

Updated my sound drivers - tdu wont even load up now, it gets to the point just before the menu, then freezes. Ive had to restart my brand new comp already :(
