    ok i got it working, i had to do a complete format and reinstal of windows but i think it will be well worth it!

    ok think i am getting somewhere. after several install and uninstalls it has finally done the folowing, said i need to download the patch to play online, so i am adding the patch now and let you know what happens ok so i added the patch that i downloaded from the atari website and its saying cant connect to servers check connection again so it must be something to do with the patch

    yeah offline works fine but i had to make an offline profile. is there anyway of finding out if the servers are down at the mo?

    i followed the tutorial and still no joy, it try to connect once and it says cannot connect i try again and i get crash to desktop

    thanks, will try it, also read the tut by razor for installing. trying now so i'll let you know how it goes, i just want to get online!!!!!

    direct to a modem via ethernet cable. i have just uninstalled my new copy, checked the registry and there are no files there for tdu, going to reboot, reinstall, run tdu registry fixer once install complete, start game on original patch 1.45 and see if i can connect.

    hi, yes i did have an illegal version. i uninstalled it and removed all registry ebtries buy using regedit from commnad line then searching the regisyry for test drive unlimeted. also i just added the patch before even playing the downloaded version.

    just downloaded the legit version of tdu from the atari website, i didnt burn it to disc just run the setup file that i downloaded, i added the 1.66 patch and started the game, then i createde my profile and gamespy i.d and it says trying to cennect blah blah, may take 90 seconds, then it just comes up cant connect to tdu servers. i have NO megapack or anything illegal. i turned of my anit virus and firewall the only other thing is which ports to open but i dont know how to open ports, i am on a modem with 10 meg virgin media BB.

    hi guy my new copy of tdu was supposed to have came today (bought it from amazon) well it has'nt and i cant wait to play it online, so does the digital download version from the atari website work ok for online play as i heard somewhere that it was a bit of a pain to activate it or something. thanks guys

    could someone point me in the direction to a tutorial on how to paint the cars using photoshop or corel. i used to play a game called 18 wheels of steel haulin, it was a truck driving game and you could paint the trucks and trailers and stuff by using dxtbmp then your choosen software (i use corel photopaint) i really enjoyed the skinning side and would love to be able to do it for tdu and if i can learn it i will take requests and release paint jobs fopr cars thansks

    i have bought a brand new copy of tdu which is coming tomorrowso i can play online. i have not cheated on my current save game and have a fair bit of money and some nice cars which i want to keep to add to the new game when i get it so i can use the cars and the cash when i play online. so can it be done? also i thoufght that online and offline play where technically the same. like when your playing the game online you can still do the single player mode races but when your driving around the map you would see online races and online players driving around the map too.

    ok thanks mate! only wanted the offlline save game as i thought that carried over to your online game.just wanted it so i would have loads of cash and cars forwhen i went online.

    i am getting my full copy of tdu tomorrow, and i was wondering if i download a savegame with lots of cars and cash will it work ok online or will it cause errors like getting me kicked off

    hi all, i want to buy tdu, i have found a used version on ebay and it says that it includes the game manuals and unique ID. so basically will i be able to play online if it is a used game? thanks

    i dont have the legal copy, but i have asked the wife to get me a legal copy for xmas, seeing as i have got her a £160 sat nav!!!! do many people play it online still? as tats why i want the legal game

    is the magic map;s file name this Bnk1.map as i have downloaded that and put it in tdu/euro/bnk and let it overwrite the original. if thats the wrong file could i have a link to the proper magic map please?

    i have added the patch and now i have the lexus showrrom, so i went there and was scrolling through the cars, wheni got to the lst car i got a CTD so i am guessing that it was the rangerover, any ideas why it crashed

    thanks mate, i found it earlier! anyway the problem is i play tdu on the pc unpatched and there is no lexus dealers??? any ideas.

    hi guys, new here and to TDU. i just downloaded the lovely range rover vogue mod but i have no idea how to install it, have look for a tutorial but can't find one, can somebody help please
