    For now, it works on Xp, Win7 (with some rights adjustment to make in TDU folder...). I still have some changes to make to provide a complete work. For example it restores the original TDU files, and not the 'potentially modified' the user had when he installed the Winter mode... I working through all of this, and will keep everybody updated...     Opelos_HUN I'am sure all the files work. But I suppose some people (not only me, as I have just read in the 522 posts of this thread - what I hadn't done entirely before) had corrupted bits in the downloaded files. The result can randomly be a 'not openable' archive or, like for me, one or two files that are damaged with a wrong checksum.... I hope my installer will fix this definitely, and fix also the procedure errors (when applicable :))of people who didn't manage to install it. Here is a sample picture... http://i896.photobucket.com/albums/ac164/TheDuck48/Divers/TDUCWMsample.png It is currently being beta tested by some local friends on Win7, with the files I mentioned (zones 4-6-5-5 and 5-1-2-0) replaced by the original (not winter) ones... that's why I was asking for them : to have a complete installer with correct files. I also have a TDU crash when installing the '18WoS Extreme' => I downloaded it again and will try. I may also add the Illusion weather mod (as an option) if he agrees... Thanks for your support, and if you could upload temporarily those two files, it would avoid me to download the whole thing again to get them not corrupted....     Hello, I am a user of your fantastic mod 'Crazy winter'... as I am a quite lazy person ;), I have started to make an installer with a GUI that moves the necessary files where necessary. I just finished the interface, and I'm currently testing the thing to check bugs, improvements... I would like to know if you allow me to share this work with the TDU community (of course I added your name and the original TDU-Central posting thread in the interface). The final work will consist in an auto extract standalone file (size is 1,1 Gb) that installs the files, and a .exe to activate the winter mode and swap the sub-configs (snowy light, snowy, etc...). As I am a very new user, I still don't have access to mailbox. You can answer in the Crazy winter thread... Thank you for the work you made ! TheDuck38

    The Duck 38 again... Does anyone have the zones 4-6-5-5 and 5-1-2-0 for the winter mod ? I downloaded the files, and these two ones are damaged and don't extract. For now, I've replaced them by the 'normal' files but as I am making an installer, I need the good files to work correctly. Other question : for the "18WoS invert", the "Clear Roads' and 'Clear roads wet' sub-mods, there is no 'Common.bnk' nor 'roadpatch.bnk'... is this normal ???     Great work ! Many thanks... But I join the others : would it be possible to separate the different weathers so that we can swap and keep them ? If you're working on a winter mod; is it possible to make snowflakes (ie to increase the number of flying particles, maybe ?)

    What a warm welcome !!! Thank you everybody. I see how I may contribute to the forum and community : I am working on an installer for Opelos Winter mod... for now it is a beta french version; but I expect it to be working in a few days. Then I will translate it and post it (if the mod owner allows me to do it of course). ... and I am not shocked by the 101% mad people !!!! I want to be one !

    Hello Opelos HUN, Thank you !!! I installed this fantastic mod and really enjoyed it. I am making a kind of auto-installer to avoid the files handling and be able to switch easily between the different snow modes... Thus I have some questions for you (that I cannot ask in PM as I am a newcomer in this forum) : - Do you allow me to use your images in the installer ? - Can I post this installer for everybody ?     Hello everybody I am TheDuch38, recent user of TDU as I discovered the game a few month ago. I completed the game recently, so I am now turning toward modding; and obviously found TDU Central... I will be sometimes in the forums to search for useful information and new cars. I am also very interested in 'season' mods like Crazy Winter by Opelos HUN... I am playing on a Mac Pro 2,66 GHz (sorry, I'm a rebel) so need to reboot each time I want to play... :( ByeBye. T.D.38
