which other than the SUV's are all from TDU1

and at this point I would love to see tham add any muscle cars, SUV's/Trucks (manily deisels), and of coarse Mopars

and I really hope their DLC doesnt suck as much as the list, TDU1 IMO had the best DLC I've seen for a racing game (other than the delays) something for eveyone in every pack

  2. Not enough SUVs, and no Jeep :ill:

IMO - Not enough muscle cars, and why the hell are they bothering with throwing in the Charger when the new one is coming out in 2011!?!?! They should've just put the Chally instead. Why are their V6 versions of the Camaro? And what happened to the 'Vette and Viper? The 300C?

finally someone who noticed the lack of muscle cars and chrysler products

it would've been an awesome game to launch/showcase the gorgeous new charger, 300, and grand cherokee, always DLC i guess

and have no idea why there is no vette that is one car that has probubly been in every game ever made.... but not in TDU2:confused: BTW there is a viper only the hardtop version tho:oook: not like it would've been that hard to take off the roof and make it a convertible

all I say is that they either better pick up their pants and straighten out the car list in the next month or have a ton of REALLY good DLC with lots of variety

  3. very dissapointed :(

also besides the typo does this mean we get the 392 HEMI in the 2012 charger SRT-8 not the 6.1L or as they put it the 4.1L in the 2010??

Expect to see a fairly intense power boost compared to the current Dodge Charger SRT8 which pumps out 425 horsepower from it's 4.1-liter HEMI V8 engine.

cause that just might make up for the halving of the chrysler lineup and the dissapearance of the muscle cars

  4. ahh! thanks, you've cheered me up, gotta look on the positive side i suppose!

    :hide: :D

you cant tell me that there are not enough euro cars from what weve seen so far (although hopefully it will change) its starting to look like everyother racing games car list 90% european a few jap and american "supercars" and a couple american muscle cars.

I do love american cars but I wouldn't buy a game that only has american muscle cars I don't mind driving some european vehicles or taking a ricer out for a spin once inna while... when the car list is dominated by one style/type of vehicle it gets boring FAST.

Thats the exact reason why I liked the car list in the first TDU and the DLC for it, there was a good mixture of cars unlike most other games

    just my 2c

  5. ^^^^^FINALLY someone who knows something about the whole deal lol yes that gold on gold viper is the last one of the current gen and there is no replacement (because daimler stole it:mad:) but Ralph Gilles and his team are still considering bringing back a redesigned viper in a few years and he has said himself that it will have no ferrari DNA

  6. I personally love the big land yachts from the 50's and 60's the fins, the massive V8's, mechanical pieces of art,

when they used to measure how big the truck is in cases of beer and not just one or two like the trucks in these new vehicles

    gotta love em

-- OLD IMAGE REMOVED (imageshack) --

I wish they'd put that kind of work and craftsmanship into todays cars

They're heavy, they rust, economically challenged people of today drive them...

I'm just gunna leave that one alone don't want to start an war here

  7. And the Viper is only going out of production for around 2-3 years, it will be replaced by a brand new Viper with a Ferrari-derived V10 and possibly but highly unlikely a Maserati GranTurismo based Chassis.

no even dodge themselves (Ralph Gilles actually) said that Ferrari is Ferrari and Viper is Viper they are not mixing the two, not using engines/chassis from one to make the other

Mercedes didn't prevent the ME-412 from happening, other things did.

Chrysler's financial troubles started even before GM's or Ford's did. They simply couldn't afford to build a car like that.

um no another old fashioned Daimler move to screw Chrysler over again they put the project to a halt after they realized it would destroy their dear SLR and be half the price

"The SLR McLaren is the top of the Mercedes [sport] line.. they've spent millions on it.. and they've spent years on it.. it represents the best of anything Mercedes.

Enter the ME-412.. they took a Mercedes engine.. took it to Mercedes tuner... they spent a year.. and outdid the SLR McLaren..

Chrysler can do in 12 months what it takes Mercedes years.. and not only can it do that, it can do that with their parts for less and better to boot!"

and the financial problems of Chrysler happened because of Daimler using Chrysler and leaving them out to slowly whither away

  8. New Signature again:

Long nose, high wing. Who am I?

Sounds like a Charger Daytona/Plymouth Superbird

o ya first thing that popped into my mind when I saw that the 'Bird lol

seeing so far TDU2's list consists of mainly TDU1 cars my bet goes to the Charger Daytona.

why the only charger in TDU1 was the '71 Charger Super Bee which is a totally different body style than the '69 Charger/'70 Roadrunner

and besides the only difference b/w the daytona and the superbird was the superbird's wing was higher, part of the front nose was black, the wing was body color, and it had the roadrunner horn beep beep lol
