It desperately needs a new physics. Just copy the old ones, they seem to be on the same Havoc Game Engine.
Let's just put it simple. "The Way that cars handle in the first TDU."
(Please tell them, to at least try.)
-
And what have you expected from a Last Stand Push for money?Worst sequel in recent memory. A complete disaster.Steering is crappy.
We all know that, and neither the Steering Wheel, nor getting a Pad will change that.
You can't even Drift.
Just upfront, i'm not a lover of the old steering - i'm just dissapointed by the new one.
-
Nope, not really we won't. (Depends from who's "we", i already stopped.)Will we keep playing it? Well... yes. Because it is the only game of it's type out there. So yeah... we'll keep playing it. But I seriously hope that TDU3 will be all-new island, new engine, better graphics, more stuff to do, and not just a new way of cooking yesterdays leftover steak. This game is worst, than the first one.
That subject's getting kind'a old, so i won't be bringing it again. You know the drill.

I just love retarded people.Time for the daily offtopic! You can delete your own posts. At least I can. Can't see any reason why you couldn't.
*googles* Ah-hha, gotcha!

(see song name if you're too dumb to see my point)
You really are lovely indeed.
[mod edit:] Please do not quote videos, thanks!

Aww, Honey...Umm...No. No, no, no. No one deserves anything that was not mentioned. Nor does anyone deserve anything that was mentioned. We were given a game where you could roam free in high end cars, buy houses, be social and customize a fantasy lifestyle. That is what we got. There's nothing more to it. Just because a vehicle is on the disc, does not mean we all deserved to get it right away. We deserve to get a working game, yes, so we should not have to deal with corrupt saves, bugs and glitches...that we deserve, but we do not deserve extra content that was not mentioned in the official car list. The ACR, Hot Rod, F40, F50 nor the Agera are cars that we deserve, simply because we were never promised them. Sure Lamborghini fell through, but it was mentioned that it would be in the game, it was never explicitly promised, none of the cars are. Life isn't idealistic, some of the people here really need to stop believing that it is.
If you like to be literally raped in daylight, that's your problem.nor the Agera are cars that we deserve, simply because we were never promised them.If you don't get the metaphor, that's also your problem.
I'm not going to pay for some DLC's of the Vehicles, that already are in the Game Database, or they could be done within few more weeks from the premiere.
Or some exclusives, bull poo.
Handling is crappy (Please, just don't. Don't even try to humiliate yourself, saying that i don't play on a Steering Wheel or a Pad. It just sucks.), there are less cars than in the first game, it doesn't have the same climate as the first one, and after all - it's just like a bad hangover after the first TDU with some social aspects as a Cherry on the top of a Pie.
Deal with it, keep living with hope that it'll get better, or just keep lying to yourself that this game is somehow better.
It isn't.
Oh, wait.
Yeah - Right.
It's just my opinion, and you also have to deal with it.
PS:
What the hell does an idealistic life, have to money-greedy butt tricks, such as releasing DLC's which just unlock the data already included on the disk?Life isn't idealistic, some of the people here really need to stop believing that it isI rather do some modding.

Doubt i will pay for vehicles, that every buyer of TDU 2 deserves on the self beginning.
Though, CD-Key's prices have dropped almost instantly after premiere. In my country, it's almost 40% of the launch price, lol.
-
With that crappy handling, i actually stopped expecting ones. lol.
-
Still a hint though. :cool:So it was hinted at through a copy&paste fail? :cheeky: -
Gosh.
I see you people really have problems with answering a simple question.
Good or Bad?
Is that good or bad then? (...)Cars with lots of power generally do that in real life unless you've got traction control on.// Sorry for using you as an Example : D
Bad.
Because it's worse than the First Game's Handling. And that's just wrong.

Switch to DirectAudio.

Oahu.
I played the Ibiza on Beta. It kind'of got bored.

Wasn't it like planned, to change your License Plates?
What happened with that idea?
-
You've got to snap photo's.

Nice cup of fried soup, that thing is. : D
Mod Edit Please do not swear, thanks!

It won't.
It should work for the first version of the game (unpatched) -
Sehr Hoch -> Very Good?

We don't need a FOV - DOF mod. Rather than that, a better RAM management, or Far-Texture loader.
-
It's not a smart idea. (From the Developers, if such thing they were thinking about.)I think the game doesn't want you to sell cars because it adds to your collection score. As same, as depriving the game from Auctioning.
-
Yeah, it's a dissapointment for a serious lot of people, which expected something better than the first TDU.I gave up on the game. I tried to make it fun because I shelled out $80 for two copies, but I just can't fake it. :(Well, i can't fake it as well - saying that the driving "physics" are something else, graphics are somehow better, et cetera.
Yeah, it is something else. But lot worse, in my personal opinion.
You just can't feel these dynamics, that rough and fierce raw power of car. Gameplay is not as quick as the first TDU, and it' seems like they focused on Free Roaming.
Too bad they did so. As much as we all loved cruising, we were doing it as a part of racing. : ]
TDU 2 lost something.
As i expected, it was a last stand for cash. At least, as was i saying - That's my personal opinion. And you can't do a jack about it. : c
...hmm what the hell? Am i missing something?

Handling is pathetic.
And no, fact that you can't drift - proves that steering is not realistic enough / dumbed down, however you call it - it's just not right.
And there is no such thing as "Good Enough For", if it's bad - then it's bad. Keep the simple things, simple.
Expecting it a Simulator?
Going with my memo, i'll keep it simple for you. What are the differences between two handling engines - first TDU and the second one?
The first TDU's one, is much more enjoable. It reacts better.
Sliding is natural, (Well, i'm sure you should know about that weirdo' Gravity which is pulling the cars in TDU2 on the left or right, and you being unable to counter almost any slide.) which also makes the car "grip" feeling a lot more natural.
Em, Hardcore mode?
I shouldn't even say a word, because anyone who did played the first TDU - WILL know what am i talking about.
