I love it when game developers actually support their game and realize when their fanbase is upset.

Once you've done all the events for an island no more will show up. That's the case for me anyway.

 

Check how many you have done in the discovery tab on the pause menu.

Right I understand that part, but I've only done 19 on Ibiza.

I've completed the main story, if you can even call it a story and now I am tiding up other lose ends. However, I can rarely ever find events to do in Ibiza. There are plenty in Hawaii, and when their timer runs out, new ones pop up. In Ibiza though, their are currently none. Every once in a while one will show up and I will do it and then no more will appear.

It's really annoying, am I doing something wrong?

TDU2 is a solid improvement.. your not the only one to highlight these problems.

Excuse me? Last time I checked a forum was a place to discuss ideas on a particular topic, and I intend to do just that. Oh, and Really there is nothing you can do about it, so go troll somewhere else.

I know TDU2 is a solid improvement. I never said it wasn't, or insinuated that the game was somehow broken or need correction. I am enjoying the game very much and will for a long time, but the things I pointed out are just silly decisions made by the developers, or possibly just small details that were over looked. I mean what game takes out trivial, but much appreciated features like adjustable seat position and custom stations. Gone for no apparent reason.

Also with the bookmark thing, the dialog box clearly says, "Press A to edit" yet when you do that you can just move it. So in actuality that's not a complaint, but more a bug report.

Oh and a Land Rover Defender.

Atom because of its top speed of like 160 and its acceleration after a crash or tight corner.

I have to say, I love riding around in my tourag.

Yeah there is no European tuner on Ibiza for some reason, perhaps to stop people tuning the Veyron early on or something, I dunno.

Yes, I see that now. I personally only use the veyron for challenges and just if I feel like going 266 MPH for no reason.

That would explain why I couldn't find it. I spend most of my time in Ibiza now. Didn't know that their was a difference between the shops on both islands.

The Citroen 2 CV says it's tunable. Does anyone know where I might find the correct tuner, has me locked out of all of em.

It really is, but its also quite fun. The dealership says it tops out at 252, but I got it up to 267 tonight. With the t top off!

Veyron hands down. I just see herds of them now just trying to drive in the dirt.

Yes it shifts, but if a real car would shift like that you'd blow the gearbox in 5 changes. It's not really something we can do anything about atm, its just horribly made from the start.

If you're having trouble, or unusual bugs please report them in the appropriate thread. Also the majority of problems that you report, I think are isolated to you because I haven't seen anyone complain about them before.

First off, where is roof control? Not that I have driven a convertible car yet, but its not in car controls....

Where is it? Or did they remove it? Or is it simply automatic for when its raining? Like lights when it gets dark...

Its in the car accessories control. For the xbox it's left on the d-pad, along with the radio and windows. I've had no problem with it.

Car handling is completely different. Cars feel literally 'glued' to the road. Well, it is realistic up to a point... Steering is very unresponsive. Even on the most sensitive setting. Oh well, hopefully it will change. Its not a bug, just a nuisance...

Also, its SOO easy to spin off even on sport. I drive hardcore but its painfully hard....

If you think its to unresponsive I'd say your in a minority. A lot of members says the opposite. The games default settings are super sensitive. If you're using a wheel that may be your problem. Wheel support is off and on. If you are using a controller, than I urge you to go here. http://forum.tdu-central.com/showthread.php?t=23872 This is probably your best bet.

Also, this game never ever ever promoted realistic handling. If you assumed that it would then you should probably know the old saying for assumptions It’ll make an “ass” out of “u” and “me”

Gears. Gears. Gears.... Gears suck. Automatic is the only working setting. And it starts your car in the most unrealistic way. Much the same can be said about reverse. It ludicriously jerky and the car starts almost as if it was hit by a truck.

This opposed to how it should be which is simply wafting away. No, they decided that you have 100% grip at the start or you have no grip at all and you just spin.....

Again, I've had no problems, nor have I seen anyone else complain about this. I've had my gearbox in manual from my very first mile and have not had any problems with it. It shifts, whenever I ask it too.

Again, not one single problem problem for me. Besides the restrictive bookmarks.

I spent a large amount of time on TDU 1 and am pretty far along in TDU2. I can tell this game is going to take up a large amount of my time like the last one did. With that said, I try to report some things that need addressed. If something I mention can be done or is different, please feel free to correct me. I'd love to be wrong if it meant these things were really fixed.

Bookmarks.

I had over 150 bookmarks in TDU1 but now I can't seem to place bookmarks on anything but roads. I could on TDU 1 and off road wasn't even supported then. I find it absurd you give me an Audi q7 with 750 lb/ft of torque, capable of climbing any off road element in the game and place interesting things out in the wilderness and don't allow me to bookmark them.

Also, the bookmarks I do have, I can't seem to edit them. Like name then or anything.

Seat position

Like seriously, if someone is capable of giving me a good answer as to why this was taken out bring it on. You give us 5 Veyrons and take this feature out! Have you even sat inside the Veyron?

Custom stations

Now I am not as upset at this as others are. I simply stream what music I want from my pc to my xbox, but it is quite annoying when I go into a cut scene and it wont stop playing a track from Hans Zimmer's Pirates of the Caribbean soundtrack (Great driving music). In TDU 1 the music stopped at every cut scene because you weren't in your car.

I have my personal preferences for cars, however, the Mercedes SLR mclaren roadster 722 in A2 class has higher top speeds then some of my A1 class cars. That thing is a beast.

I think some people were expecting realism to the likes of rFactor or Gran Turismo 5 or something and they ended up with something arcadey which is why a lot of people aren't happy.

This pretty much sums up most of the newer fans.

The 370z isn't bad. Its sound is the main reason I purchased it.

Yea, I think the game doesn't want you to sell cars because it adds to your collection score. However, when you sell a car for the money using the workarounds listed above your collection score doesn't go down either.

Hi, did anyone already find a way to raise lots of money fast?

I thought that you could just repeat the championships, but when I did the A6-high championship for the second time (to get 100k$), I didn't receive a penny. I'm not sure if this was just a bug, but it sure made me wonder where I'm supposed to get the 5 million to buy the yacht from.

 

But apart from the championships: Post your tips on how to get rich!

Once you complete a championship, you can go back to the icon and select it and it will give you options like, "Go there" "GPS marker" and "Give up". The give up option will allow you to redo the championship only for the per race prize. You wont get the championship winning bonus.

However, if you can find a short race thats easy, say the speed challenges you can make a bit of money. As soon as you finish a race you get your credits, I mean even while your character is standing there leaning on his car and its showing you the results. If you press start you can see your money has increased. From here you can select retry, and rinse and repeat. Its not a lot of money but I do believe its the fastest way, other than beating championships for the first time.

I know some of my friends bought a car that they wanted, but couldn't use for championships in the early stages of ibiza and now they are stuck. They need a new car for the next championship to make a reasonable amount of money, but they don't have any garage space and they blew all their cash on a gtr. The game will put you in a difficult place if you don't practice finical responsibly early on.

THANK YOU! The first thing I did was mess with my settings and now after tweaking them a tad more it is perfect. I have no handling issues at all and think it's a vast improvement on TDU1. There are countless people on the official forums complaining about the handling and I have a feeling none of them touched the wheel config. It really makes a massive difference.

Your welcome. I am glad you appreciate it. Its still arcade physics but it's a major improvement on the handling. I personally and very happy with the handling dynamics after I changed these. Now, if they would only hurry up with that hardcore mode:D

The official forums are a disaster area, especially now. I've seen GMDestra close and re open xbox 360 bug threads three times now! So many kids are going in there and just ripping eden a new one over the silly things like "OMG MaI mustanG!! oNLY hAS onE EXHAUSTttt PiP3", while a select few like me are trying to actually report serious bugs. I found it best by just tweeting him directly from my xbox. That place is crazy, at least its civil over here.
