For what I know, the french HC team is actually very active communicating in their secret thread since the last big playtest. I would say this is good odd for the day-one patch theory about the more-sim handling (that I've still never heard of). I would tell you what we had in beta but NDA from Atari may still be active...

I must confirm having seen the same information in official forum, maybe by Destra, that A=Asphalt, B=Offroad and C is Classic. What was the organizatoin they retained for cars @ the NBP test version you had been playing ?

I hope the "God of Cars (own all purchasable cars...) trophy is still accessible even if you own a basic version of the game (no DLC cars, no pre-orders cars)...

I hope this time there won't be any problems to get to the top level (60). The achievements were fun in TDU, even if you were unable to get to ACE with a PC retail version...

I think he speaks for UK pre-orders wher you can have Casino (that's with 2 cars, R8 Spyker & C8 Aileron), and another car along with it... Not in NL nor in France (nor in... and the list is long) buddy :D

FYEO : it is the french Atari retail site... In case you would want something else as the Casino, by example the Ford Shelby GT500 (which is also called a Camaro Synergy Special Edition on some parts of the official site)...

Note the given release date (24 september 2010, cool :D) and the bonus car is still the 370z...

Note if you can some french, how in the french part of the announce you have no mention of any of the non-casino cars, as if they do not exist :(

Do you mean that the 612 or the tricolore Zonda will have something in game like a specific performance bonus pack ? I don't think Atari-Eden will do special designs just for shops, do they ?

What I meant with the Casino thingy (with 2 more cars that you won't get any other way ingame), this is an add-on. A paint scheme or the ability not to pay for a tuning intervention is a bonus.

I've seen many cars paint offered for pre-order, but in Europe if you want to pre-order as to get the Casino, you have to wait for friday's announce I guess :)

But I might be wrong of course !!

If I'm not mistaken, the pre-order cars have a custom paint scheme, and if any "hardware" modification, it's told (as for the Jaguar XKR from Direct 2 Drive with paint pack AND speed pack).

I hope we have good news for europeans (and thus french !!) pre-orders this friday ! Most of the US sites doesn't take orders from outside USA... So far, I have the feeling the only "real" pre-order add-on is the online Casino (more gameplay, 2 cars able to be won...)

Yeah nothing new indeed. We knew from the beginning that O'Ahu roads would get more polygones, and we hoped for cool visual upgrades.

I just thought we could get new small tarmac roads besides the off-road ones, but seems not :sulk: .
