    i managed to overcome the problem. i used a friends dvd drive instead. i tested it on 3 different ones. gigabyte dvd roms arent as sensitive to scratches. yet his new LG cant read it. might be usefull to someone else mentioning that

    new game in south africa, finding a new copy after this long is like finding a needle in a haystack. il try the toothpaste. god anything that wil help

    cleaned i used specialized cleaners and fluids etc. ive tried all i can think of. even trying to manually copy it all over and installing it from my pc. its the data2.cab file. the most of it is intact. just about 5 or so files that are corrupt. i really need help with this. the most i could manage is to start the game, it plays the 3 intro videos and then crashes saying memory could not be read in "00x0000"

    hey guys. ive had the origional TDU for over a year now and recently needed to reinstall everything on my new HDD. but my TDU disc has very very faint scratches.. the installer goes smoothly til about 98% and then crashes with an error saying the file is corrupt. please tell me what i can do?? its my favourite game
