  1. Here is the result of 54 polygons for the side shell, but according z-modeler tutorials most cars should have 1000-2000 polygons. I will add more to the car after I get the full layout. http://img153.imageshack.us/img153/7434/california02.png [mod edit:] Please do not post images larger than 350KB, use a thumbnail or a text link instead, thanks! 54 for the side, I'm guessing maybe 200 for the back and probably about 300 for the front just for the base layout.
  2. What is the maximium polygon count that TDU accepts? I started work on this about an hour ago. Its nothing too fancy, but not too bad for my first time using zmodeler. Just the shell I can mess with the details of lines later. http://img842.imageshack.us/img842/6607/california01.png [mod edit:] Please do not post images larger than 350KB, use a thumbnail or a text link instead, thanks!

Car Replacements: -Mustang GT Convertible -> 2008 Shelby GT500 KR -Audi A6_V8 -> 2010 Camaro SS -F-430 Spyder -> F-458 Italia -F-575M -> 599 GTB with rear spoiler -Enzo -> Ferrari FXX -MC-12 -> Enzo with F-50 Spoiler -350Z -> 2009 370Z -Skyline -> 2009 GT-R -Zonda-C12S -> Zonda C-12S with new rear spoiler -Saleen TT S7 -> Saleen TT S7 with rear spoiler Future requests: (Can't post in request forum yet, due to 10 post limit) 370Z Nissan Rear spoiler package Another 370Z spoiler side shot (looks sweet) 370Z without spoiler (To me the 370Z is just boring and dull without the spoiler) Its my hope that someone will make a 370Z spoiler variation to use in game. It will definately be my first request when I reach 10 posts. My second request would be a 2010 Ferrari California (coupe edition) Thanks for all your hard work you guys put into making this game better.
  4. What defines a specific car class? Is it overall top speed? The reason I ask is because, when you use a car model mod you need to replace a specific vehicle to put that vehicle within a specific class. Are any of these in the wrong vehicle class? I tried to match the cars up according to there performance without tuning. MC-12 with Enzo that has an F-50 Spoiler (Class A) F430 Coupe - Untouched F430 Spyder replaced with 458 Italia (Class B) 575M Maranello replaced with 599GTB (Class C) F612 Scagleitti - Untouched Enzo replaced with Ferrari FXX Supercar (Class A) Nissan 350Z replaced with 2009 370Z (Class E) Nissan Skyline replaced with 2009 GT-R (Class E) Audi S4 replaced with 2010 Camaro Concept (Class E) Mustang GT - Untouched Mustang GT Convertible replaced with 2008 Shelby Mustang 500KR (Class E) Zonda with new spoiler (Class A) Saleen S7 with new rear spoiler (Class A) Murceinlago 670 with Painted Parts (Class A) Gallardo L640-4 superlegga with rear spoiler (Class B) I tried to match the new car models to specific classes, but I am not sure how accurate this is. The only thing that was changed was the car model for visual detail, physics are untouched. I wanted to keep all of my coupes so I chose to replace them with mostly spyders, convertibles, and other cars that I never drive.
  5. I installed this mod and now I can't see thru the window Its completely orange for some reason Maybe I don't have magic mip map installed properly? I extracted bnk1.map to the main euro\bnk folder. Magic mip map has to be used with this mod right? http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?p=370938#post370938 I renamed the file to glass_i.2db opened tdu modding tools 1.7.1 file browser vehicules/zonda_c_i replaced glass_i.2db with new glass_i.2db chose maintain file size and truncated yes/no, hit yes. Here is the result http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/4272/image01h.jpg Image showing the glass is still completely intact http://img543.imageshack.us/img543/3763/002m.png Edit --------------------------------------------------------------------- Texture issue resolved, not a universal texture for all cars like I originally thought. It only works on certains vehicles.
  6. I downloaded TDU toolkit to see if I can get body swapping stuff to work Basicly what I want to do is swap an F430 for a mustang goto deluxe paint shop Paint its color, then switch it back to an F430 so that it can use the color that I have all of my other cars setup to use. How does one accomplish this using body swapper? All my other cars match, but my ferrari's don't match my current collection. I don't want to change the car specs at all, I just want matching colors for all of my cars. thanks
  7. thanks, its a wonderful mod that really enhances TDU. Goes great with that new texture pack I just tried out. Thats definately a keeper!
  8. I used this mod years ago and it was great, it really made TDU so much better. It removed the dirt and specs from your windshield. Where you had a nice clean windshield while driving. The windshield wasn't clear. It just had a clean windshield texture 100% of the time. I just tried illusion island paradise and its a wonderful mod, but I want to also find and reinstall that no dirty windshield mod that I used to have on an older install years ago. The trouble is trying to find that mod since its release in 2006 with the hundreds or possibly thousands of new mods that have been released since the last time I played this game is nearly impossible for someone who doesn't know where to look on the main tdu mod sites. Does anyone know where I can find this mod? It worked for all cars, since it just replaced the base texture for a dirty windshield and didn't remove the windshield like some mods do. I hate driving with a messed up windshield even if driving without going offroad once.
