My download finished tonight so I was able to try the new patch. Your friend was right, all the car sounds were changed and sound worse than the old diesel engine of my Opel.

Bikes are kind of fun to drive, but are 80 Atari tokens each. Also, some of the normal (i.e. non-DLC) versions were removed. So at the Audi dealer I can now only buy the Q7 Inuit Edition but no longer the standard edition.

I didn't think you could make this game any worse, but somehow they did...

Maybe it will make you feel better if I tell you that this seems to be common practice amongst game publishers. My Guild Wars account got disabled one day, and I had to send over ten emails before they re-enabled it. In every email I asked why they disabled it in the first place but I never got any answer. But finally, after giving them details about my whole entire life and sending in pictures of the receipts, the game boxes, my cat and my genitals they finally gave back access.

Until DLC1 hits the consoles (I assume you play console?), there really isn't a way to make money besides racing other players.

How is the Explorer DLC fixing the money problem? Am I missing something?

The Exploration Pack is really great and everything, if just the exploration part wasn't disabled by a bug. For me (and lots of other people) the game totally screwed up which wrecks you have already found. See the attached screenshots.

So after finding just 2 new wrecks, I got the new car. And I can now go and re-find some of the old wrecks.

To all the Xbox-players: I think you are lucky that Microsoft checks the patch before you get it, hopefully they force Eden to fix the problems before they release the Pack. Eden's QA team has once again proven to be quite incompetent.

What form of possible logic decided to put £3 = 400 tokens and then £8 for 1000 tokens? It's cheaper per token in the £3 pack >> (by 0.005p, but still). 1000 tokens should be £7.50 (at the same rate)... And you would have thought they would encourage you to "bulk buy" so make the larger token packs even cheaper. Say £7?

You think that's crazy? Take a look at the €-prices:

18,25 € EUR Atari Token-Bündel - 2000

43,50 € EUR Atari Token-Bündel - 4000

Buying 2x2000 tokens is 36,50€, compared to 43,50€ when buying 4000.

Looks like you all had a fun cruise. It is such a shame these are the circumstances...

Sorry for leaving early today, but the lags were really ruining the fun for me. Don't know what caused the bad connection, but as I had closed all other bandwidth-consuming programs, I suppose that the TDU servers are to blame.

Let's just hope that the next cruise will give me and everyone else a better ping.

I think the ghosting trick is much harder to pull if you are using a steering wheel and manual transmission. It should be easier if you use automatic and some gamepad or keyboard.

I'm using an Xbox360 gamepad on PC, autmatic transmission, hardcore mode (no driving aid). Never had problems, it's really easy to do with that setup.

The lobby session is very buggy so we will have to cancel these events and go on a normal cruise. Sorry for the inconvenience and this is the reason we tested this first.

 

Meeting place A in TDU1 will be the meeting place I will invite you all so you know where it is.

If this is a regular cruise, will it be opened for regular folk? Or does it remain limited to the club's elite? :P

I've found some cars that surprised me, but most of them aren 't finished yet, like the 599xx and the agera, the hotrod is a bonus car, but now I've found a way to unlock cars like dlc cars,

I have unlocked the 599 china edition, veyron sang bleu, veyron supersport, ferrari fxx, spyker aileron. and that all for free, Maybe I'll post a picture later on. I'm now going to unlock the black edition cars, the zonda tricolore and the gumpert apollo s

To celebrate the free DLC we will be holding a week of rally events. This will go live a few weeks after the DLC is available to everyone.

Did I miss something? When and where did they announce free DLC? Can't find anything on the official website.
