actually nvm that card costs too much 419 here in boston. Can anyone recomend a good card from 0-150 bucks because im sorta low on cash and i want to play TDU if it doesnt work on my Radeon 9200

I've been talking to people from other forums. No, lexusis, that will not run it on high settings, but will on low-medium

 

Update: new card, i did research, this stomps even $300 cards

2 quick questions:

1) will my 9200 series work at all on test drive unlimited??

2) Can i play TDU on high with that graphics card?

I'm very doubtful you will be able to play the game with that graphics card. It wouldn't start the game. I would suggest you buy a new Graphics Card.

 

Here is what I'm going to buy to play TDU, i currently have a Radeon 9600 but it struggles to play the game a lot.

 

But my friend has a Nvidia 7600 Gt, and he plays everything on full graphics and runs fine.

dammit... i dont know much about computers so i dont know how to properly install a graphics card. if i buy a Nvidia 7600 Gt will the game work or do i have to continue to upgrade. Is it hard to add a different graphics card or should i call in the professionals to do it for me? this bites i was soo excited to play when i get the game (2moro) but it looks like i cant really play huh?

is ur video card atleast 256mb?

Has anyone else heard about the defect in the pc test drive unlimited?? i went to best buy extremely excited to get the game finally a couple days a go and they said they were all defected? i dont exactly know what is going on. can anyone clarify?

well i was also really worried bout my specs but, i think you'll be all right -if u play like i do...without HDR, AA, and on 1152*864 screen resolution-or maybe even less 4 u, as u haven't completely got 1GB of RAM. my specs aren't tooooo good:- 1 GB ram, 7600gt and 2.1Ghz CPU buy you shouldn't worry too much bout ur specs....just hope 4 the best...

From what i remember you start off at a airport and then you choose your character customize it etc. and then rent a rental car and get a house and stuff..

i mean live for speed has really good graphics and i really dont want to put or pay for new graphic cards i dont understand nothing about. Ive never had problems with games on my sony vaio desktop (Counter Strike, Live for Speed) I think ill be ok im gettnig the game soon i would have gotten couple days a go but there was a defect for all Best BUYS shipments of the game so i had to order which was a real pain. Either i get it 2moro hopefully :-) or next week

yeah but they shouldnt charge us i mean a lot of people had to work for that 40 bucks and now we have to pay in order to get the good cars?? I have a sony vaio desktop standard no extra fancy graphics cards and i have 512 mb and its XP I REALLY HOPE IT WORKS im gettng kinda worried

its not a laptop is a desktop and it works Live for Speed Perfectly is it still not ok?
