Wow. I don't know which is worse:

1). This forum's lack of posts, especially in light of the recent patch release

2). The lack of intelligent conversation in this forum

3). The lack of caring and respect for the PC Gaming community that Atari has shown.

So far, Atari/Eden havn't said a word about WHEN it will be released. Let's keep the rumours to a minimum. Thanks.

The bloody patch was supposed to be out over 40 minutes ago, as Atari claimed it would be out by mid to late June.

As it is now July 1st at Atari North America, and the patch is not out, we can all pack-up and leave.

This game is dead to me now. Thank you, Atari, for stealing my money.

I'm enjoying the night mod, but I needn't worry about headlights. In spite of the dark sky at night, the road and scenery seem rather well lit on their own. Weird, but cool.

So, we get the dark sky, but the benefit of well lit terrain.

Actually, that seems like cheating. Keep on racing and you'll unlock the racetrack in due time.

G25 in TDU

I just picked-up a G25 about a week ago. Since Atari dropped-the-ball on so many things, including the documentation (there is a serious need for descriptions of the various control settings), I found it particularly difficult to get the wheel set-up in a manner that's playable. After 5 days of tweaking every setting just right, I finally have the wheel set to a point where I'm nearly as proficient with it as I am with my game pad, and I'm 58% of the way through the game.

My only issue is that I can't seem to shift using the 6-speed shifter. I can use Auto (of course) and I can shift using the on-wheel paddle shifters, but regardless of the settings, the stick doesn't seem to work.

Other than that, I love the G25. I hope if you get one, you'll enjoy it too. If anyone wants to know my exact settings, e-mail me at [email protected].

7:37pm Eastern US. Server Down. I hope Atari gets their problems sorted-out. I've decided to have to accounts; one for on-line racing and one for when the server goes down. Chin up.

The Racetrack is to the West of the Honolulu Airport, and is only open when you make it to Champion level.

Enjoy it. I see very few other people on the track when I go.

171 mph on the I-94 to Detroit in a Saleen Mustang belonging to my cousin.

It was before dawn and the early morning traffic was almost non-exsistant.

He held it at speed for about 3 miles and then backed-off. Cops in that area would not have been too appreciative of our antics. It was a little scary, but what a great feeling!

Normally, I average 90mph on the interstate in my MK3 Golf GTI, but had her up tp 122. Not quite as exciting.

For what it's worth, I think I've got a pretty good rig. Well, two. My other machine is running nearly the same specs, but using 1 NVIDIA 8800 GTS, instead of 2 7950's. The rig with the 8800, stutters like a madman. Highly annoying!
