  1. How many horses do you have under the bonnet? *waits nervous for an answer*

At the crank? Probably around 220 ish.

At the wheels I would guess anywhere from 150-170.....

I'm having it dyno'd in October so I'll have some solid numbers then.

  2. I'm not around much since I don't have a PC to play TDU on anymore...

But I do still have my other toy and I've been working on her like mad lately.

    here's a few recent pics:

I just installed the new 17x8 Bullitt wheels with Goodyear Eagle ZR Gatorback tires 245/45ZR17

I've got the following hardware, I just need to install it.

    Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber plates

    Steeda strut tower brace

FRPP handling kit includes stiffer springs, koni gas shocks/struts, and stiffer sway bars

EBC Red Stuff racing compound brake pads

BAER Decela drilled and slotted rotors

    BAER stainless steel brake lines

SCT XCAL3 flash tuner (waiting for a custom tune)

I'll try to remember and post more pics once everything is complete, but just thought I'd give you guys an update ;)

  3. The kinetic design is waaaaay better looking than the red white and bold design of the US fords...... Though I do like both styles, the Euro Focus/Mondeo are far better looking than their US counterparts....

    Nice Car!

  4. This past weekend we had a local get together of some Black Mustang Club members to welcome a few of our overseas members from Germany who were visiting in Kansas. The Neon SRT-4 belongs to a friend of mine who tagged along for fun :)

    Enjoy

Sorry they are so huge!!! :(

  5. As a fellow automobile owner and enthusiast, I can truthfully say that there is no such thing as "Finished" :D

There's ALWAYS something to change, tinker with, add, paint, etc.... you get the idea :P

  6. Yeah, your system should be able to run everything on max at even higher resolutions.

Has it always been like this? Or is this a recent development?

It might be that you have Vista 64. I"ve heard that Vista doesn't play well with some games. Check to make sure all of your drivers are vista compatible.

Cause, my system is crappy but I can play 1440x900 visual details on high with 16x af and aa turned off at a steady 25fps no problem. You should be waaaaay beyond that on your specs.

  7. Fraps does take up some resources, so really on a 512mb machine, it might hinder game play.

If you go into your file properties for your TDU shortcut icon, go to the target and add -fps to the end of it.

    Like so: "C:\Program Files\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\TestDriveUnlimited.exe" -fps

This will display your FPS in red at the top left corner of your game screen. it makes online chat hard to read, so if you plan on chatting alot, I wouldn't use it.

  8. How do you have that set up?

I'm considering getting this but I'm not really sure how or where I should put it...

I'd contemplated building some sort of semi-mobile desk type thing that would put the wheel and pedals at an optimum position, but obviously the G25 has a separate shifter module and I'm not familiar with what kind of attachment device it uses as a way to position it on your left/right side...

  9. God, every week I have to clarify something else in the rules. It's really not too hard people! ;)

I suppose it would be difficult for a newer member who has never participated to know the rules if the rules are not being properly clarified for every contest. :oook:

  10. so we can't vote for ourselves?

I voted mine cause I liked mine...... O.o

I didn't not like the others, but I just liked mine more.

It would be dumb to vote for something I didn't like.

I mean, hypothetically speaking, if you entered a pottery making contest and made a 300 pound glazed urn with a fully detailed carving of michelangelo's greatest masterpiece all the way around it and everyone else entered crappy little bowls with crude etchings of a spongebob episode on the sides.... and you couldn't vote for yourself... Who would you vote for? Would you not vote? Or would you just vote for the best of the worst entries....?

I'm not saying I had the best one, but I liked what I entered so thats what I voted for... I guess if thats not allowed then so be it but I don't really understand.....

  11. How do you guys get your pics to turn out so well????

I've tried everything and mine always end up pixelated and crappy looking

Well, I have two entries... They're not that great, but I wanted to participate!

Does this qualify as 'off road' ??

Consider it Nicolas Cage jumping the traffic in "Gone in 60 Seconds" lol
