So I have had test drive on my computer for awhile then after a bad HDD failure I lost my game and everything with it. Since I had downloaded the game, I had to re-buy it off the site because I didnt get the EDS when I purchased the game the first time. So not only was I already pretty irritated with the whole situation.. this then happens. I download the game again, install it, start the game, create my profile etc, then it tells me I need to update to 1.66v. Yeah yeah, I knew it was coming. So I SHUT THE GAME OFF, downloaded the patch, and installed with the GAME OFF. Turn the game on, click my profile, it gives me the "Connecting to servers.. this can take up to 90 seconds" stuff.. then that box goes away. A few seconds later it says

"Failed to connect to test drive server, check your network status and try again". I have uninstalled, re-installed, deleted all my TDU folders.. EVERYTHING, and nothing works. Am I pretty much just boned and cant play the game online or what? Please help!!

In seriousness, Im glad to see clues like this leading to the fact that TDU 2 is actually in production. This has been the most mysterious development of any game I've ever seen. Why can't they just give us some assured conformation?

I have vista also. I went into my control panel and turned the AF to 16x, and it still doesn't look as smooth as yours. Although, if your ATi then it could just be the difference in the way the two cards work.

Hey, I had a question, how do you force AA and AF? I have a GTX 260 and I would like to take as much advantage of this game as possible since I know my card can handle it.

Yeah, that was it. Another guy on the forums helped me out yesterday and gave me that program to run before the game, it works fine now.

Hi everyone. I have had TDU on my computer for quite awhile now. I bought it, the Megapack, and everything. Well, I have recently got into adding mods into the game, which went pretty smoothly thanks to the tutorials on this site. Although, when I tried to install a car mod the other day, for some odd reason the car didnt want to load and my game would just crash. Yes, I have the magic map, fixed all the files with the Mod Program thing.. etc etc. So, since it still wouldnt work, I used the backups I had created, copied them back, and no harm done. Right? Wrong. I now get random lockups at almost the begining of exiting my house, or if I enter a building (Ex. Car shop) and leave, the game just freezes. Can anyone help me? I have deleted everything with the word TDU, or test drive unlimited on it from my computer several times, re-isntalled, everything. No luck. Im at wits end, and cant figure out what to do. Any help is appriciated.

Oh ok, thanks guys lol. I have a Rturbo with about 2,500k on it, I love that car. I know one guy on the game who has 49,800 on his Benz SLR Mclaren... :|

Alright. So here is the deal. Today I was doing some buiness in the Trade section, when the oddest of things happened. I removed a vehicle from the "My Transactions/My Sales" Section, because it was getting no action. After I did, my game glitched momentarialy, then, I SWEAR TO GOD, the oddest thing happened. My list glitched, and I had a list full of "Hennessy Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe" and they all said "For Sale"!!!!!! It was gone about 3 seconds after, I wish I had removed one, but I was too busy hyper ventilating and spazzing out!!! Has anyone EVER heard of a Hennessy Viper in the game? I swear to you all that I saw this??

Who knows, I did have seizure day before yesterday, so maybe I see Hennessy Viper written everwhere. LOL.

Wait wait wait, im confused. I think I have a GTO at one of my houses, I need to get in and delete it?? How do I delete the DL #6 off my HD, because otherwise I cannot get into the game.
