I've seen a edited map db.bnk around wich makes all cars paintable in-game... You might want to look arpund for that... it makes it all a lot easier :D

Well, I've done some black ones, some sliver/black ones, some white ones and even some orange ones.... so it is possible, just... well.. somehow this one is giving me trouble....

Hi guys,

As some of you know, I'm not a stranger to modding but at this moment, I have the weirdest problem: I seem to be unable to paint a rim.... :confused:

When I put the edited rim in-game (doesn't matter on which car I put it) and I go to the showroom, it starts loading the cars. As soon as it starts loading the car that has the modded rims it freezes. The music keep playing but that's about it.

If I don't make the 2db file the smae size as the original file and then import it, save it and put it in-game, the whole game crashes and then gives some error. This is good, because, at least then you know you f-ed up... but now... I don't know what I'm overlooking....

Any idea regarding this is welcome!

I'd like to ask wheter or not there is (will be) an version 2 (with spoiler, rimms, fixed doors and working windows (just like the current version 2:P)) but paintable just like the normal car (no carbon hood/roof/trunk).

So... actually a version 2 but without the "carbon" parts... shouldn't be to much work... only a material change I'd say....

anyway, I'd love to see that one...... :)

I've done all the DB files that got installed with the version of the game that I have so, no, I can't . Simply because I don't have the corresponing db file.

no, this only modifies the existing RUF's.

nothing will be deleted. If you replaced a RUF with some other custom vehicle however, that vehicle will be gone, getting replaced by the Ruf/Porsche again.

The center logo is easy to fix. It's like any other texture mod.

Just look around the forum, you could do it yourself if you'd liek to of course :P

You may only edit the Vinyl No Other Textures!

I edited the vinyl, the lowres interior just to make it fit, so chill out, calm down etc etc.

I'm not going to release it as a mod or whatever so don't worry!

is an option, yes, but then it doesn't create nice little thumbs :P

word docs are no problem, documents at al aren't a problem, but try to upload via the image upload funtion.

ok... no april fools but it will not be suspended as was announced in the beginning...

1. Yes you can use mods online.

2. Yes you can convert offline profiles to online profiles.

3. Both these questions are already answerd a couple of time so next time please use the "search" funtion before posting... :)

Think answer is: It will be finished when it's finished.

No one knows when it will be finished so don't ask, you'll only irritate the modder (and perhaps some other folks) which could lead to their departure.... now, that's not what you want, do you?

When the autor/modder had a release date in mind, he will probably tell us through the corresponding thread.

Yes. It's possible. Don't know for sure wheter that was the rim or the tire-sidewall in the picture, but i made a lamborghini rim with black and chrome spokes ones. How the red would display..... only one way to find out I'd say...
