Sorry for comming late to this party; but I (still) have this problem, being it on WINDOWS 10.
Just went through a driver removal an install with DDU but still I get the "input not supported" box.
I'm booting via the Universal Launcher. The game does run in the background (I can hear the sound) but that's it.

Any tips or tricks?

The problem was in the save game.
When I cleared the folder and booted, everything worked like a charm!
 

I've played TDU 1 A LOT, then TDU 2 came out, bought it and played that A LOT as well. (both on pc)

Now, last week I was just browsing around several shops in town, and I picked up both TDU's for Xbox360 for a little under 30 euros (combined).

I started playing an enjoying it again but there are a couple of things I just want to get of my chest:

1. Savegames. Why aren't these platform independent (and saved on a server)?! the PC version is just a port from the xbox version.

2. DLC. Same issue as above: I have to buy them twice if I want to play the casino or DLC cars on bot systems. This kind of feels like your getting ripped-off really :S

3. Profile. It's just a shame that is uses your xbox account instead of eden acount/windows live account you have to use on PC.

All of the above should be possible by just linking 1 and 2 to 3.

it's fun to drive around an discover stuff all over again but after a while it's just frustrating and, well... kinda boring to have to start all over again with beginner cars, hardly any money and everything locked... in my eyes: not necessary.

Anyway, just wanted to vent this maybe get some reactions and see what you guys think of this.

I just have Winamp open in the background with all my musicin there.

Then I use the media controls on my speakers to play/pause/prev/next through my playlist.

I also have xfire open which has integrates winamp in it zo I can slo scroll through my whole playlist and look for that one song that will make me drive superbly and win everything :P

I'd love to use the police car in free-roam and then just randomly start chasing people with the sirens on, to make them wonder if they'd actually caused that much damage or not.

 

Aviators are the sunglasses that were made famous decades ago by airplane pilots (aviators) - i.e. think Top Gun.

As female you don't get avaiator sunglass, hence the fact that I didn't get the link of "aviator".

Diddent know you could unlock stuff like stickers and the outfits!

And if I'm correct, the outfit includs a set of avaitors dont they?(If its the same as what the police were if they catch you)

Hi all!

I've been wondering about the police unlocks. I've seen players drive the viper, having the outfit and the stickers, and I know how to get them but ... I hardly ever get an invite?!

I've been playing online approximatley 2 months and quiet a lot of hours but I've had 8 invites so far... hence the fact that I'm wondering if those other people used some kind of exploit or something...?

Anybody any tips on getting more invites or how the others did it?

What are you talking about. Both cars ARE buyable. I have bought both. (R8 won this time after my save got corrupt the first time where I actually bought it.)

@Little_ghost: Afaik, you can't buy the Spyker, only the R8. The Spyker isn't anywhere to be found in the casino hall iirc.

As the other said but I wnated to ass something:

The R8 spyder is NOT buyable, the spyker is.

Pnce you have enought money and access to the vip terras you're good to go.

Hmmm ... that guy with the shelby is on my friends list, and he bought 2 yachts yesterday. At least the game sent me 2 corresponding messages. Must be a real hard-working guy ... :oook:

Only 2? how disappointing.

I was playing this weekend and there was a guy, ccan't remember his name. who kept buying the damn yacht! I stoped counting the pop-ups when I reached the tentht.

His name started with a P, had an X in it somewhere and he had like $ 91.XXX.XXX after the Yachts he bought.

His name is probably somewhere on the Roulette scoreboard :P

- Both are Casino Cars. Casino is either pre-order or DLC which make the cars non-standard game cars.

the c8 and the r8 are both not DLC, theyre unlockable which is wat u asked for ^

As you can read, bot Audi and Spyker mentioned are the spyder versions thus casino pack cars thus dlc (of pre-order but not standard game cars)

If you meant the Audi R8 Coupe 5.2 FSI quatro, this one is is already on the list so no unlockable nor dlc.

With regard tot the Spyker I don't know if there is a non-Spyder version. If so: unlockable. If not: DLC only.

Those are dlc cars. My aim was to get a complete list of the default (buyable at the car dealer) cars. Next to that I wanted to make a little list with the other cars you can win etc.

So in the end I would have a list with all the cars someone could have if he/she bought the PC game and not buy anything else.

I could extend the list with a DLC list, but that was initially not my idea (doesn't mean I probably will :P)
