  1. Pretty sure this is their first effort, or at least the first in a long time.

Yeah they have sold cars here before, but it was a long time ago. This is their fist attempt in a very long time. I don't see them selling well at all because, unfortunately, people here do not like change and will not buy anything they are not used to. Hopefully someone will open their eyes though.

  2. Since I, for some reason, cannot find the thread I made about my 2009 Silverado, I will post the update here.

Friday, I had my new exhaust system from Flowmaster installed. It makes the sound of God! I never expected it to turn out that good. I mean it came out absolutely perfect. I couldn't be more happy with it :)

  3. ;351134']You are unbelievably lucky! How long was the drive?

    -Leadfoot

Like less than 5 minutes lol. But it was totally worth it :D

For someone who has never driven a vehicle with a double-clutch transmission, it was very different lol. At low RPMs the whole vehicle wanted to shake real bad. But despite being that low to the ground, it rode like a dream. I was shaking when I got out of it as you can imagine. Going directly from a 302hp truck into a 560hp supercar is not something done easily lol. The whole car just makes you feel special though. The engine sound is indescribable. As soon as you push the start button, the mirrors automatically adjust, and doors lock, and the steering wheels slowly lowers down into your lap as if you say, "Hello :)" lol.

It is truly something that I will never forgot lol.

You all know that the long-awaited U.S. version of Top Gear is headed to The History Channel, and now it's time to get your first taste of the show. The first trailer for the show is online, and if it's any indication, Tanner Foust, Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara are going to win over viewers, and the program will not stray from the BBC original's successful formula of cool tests and zany challenges.

In fact, one of the new show's challenges is the trailer's centerpiece. In involves the hosts determining the best $1,000 car by putting a trio of them through a punishing "moonshine run" dirt course. The ride selected for the teaser is Ferrara's, the airborne 1976 Cadillac Deville Calais seen above (it could be a '75, but we're pretty certain that's the '76 grille pattern). How does a malaise-era Caddy handle a landing after catching that much air? About as well as you'd imagine - this isn't the make-believe world of '70s cop shows, after all. It's hilarious.

Bottom line: The hosts exude great chemistry and the motoring action is pretty much everything you'd want and expect from a program calling itself Top Gear. Still under wraps, however, is the Stig. The suspense is killing us. This looks like a completely fun show. Hit the jump to see for yourselves. Thanks to Chris for the tip!

Personally, I am excited for it. Autoblog do not tend to give compliments lightly, so it must be pretty good from their point of view lol. With no Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, or James may, it doesn't really seem right. But it will be nice to get a review of some American cars from an honest point of view :D

  5. Lancia Stratos Prototype Spotted Testing in Italy

A prototype new Lancia Stratos has been spotted testing at the Balocco test track, the main proving ground for the Fiat Group in Italy. This photo, which comes to us courtesy of Italiaspeed, shows a car that appears remarkably similar to a 2005 concept built by private design house Fenomenon, which was itself meant to be an updated interpretation of the ’70s cult-classic car. The headlights, wheel arches, and even the rims themselves on the prototype are dead ringers for those of the Fenomenon Stratos (below).

That concept car was built with a mid-mounted V-8 engine, and that neatly matches the rumor floating around that this newest Stratos prototype is actually based on a modified Ferrari F430 platform.

The prevailing logic at this point is that this car was commissioned as a one-off for a particularly wealthy Lancia fan, but considering the resources necessary to develop this test car, as well as the potential interest from the automotive community, we expect that Fiat is at least considering small-scale production.

  6. Yes, this is an SLS. And yes, it is in Kentucky lol. A guy in my town just bought one, same guy who has the black ZR1. He also has an SL63 in the garage. I hate him, even though he is super nice. I'm talking like super super nice. He had to leave after I looked at it or he was considering letting me drive it. I am 16. Kind of crazy in my opinions but nice none the less.

When he left, he tore up the road. I have never heard anything like it before. That AMG noise is priceless. I think I'm in love lol.

(Sorry for the picture quality. I was literally so shaky from excitement that it caused my phone camera to blue lol)
