BTW: The rearlights do not look very good (details, not-clean)

Two questions (look to picture because of numbers)

Will this be a brake light (1) ?

And will you make this more-detailed (2) ?

There are some little problems whit it, look @ a movie where you see the spoiler go,s up.. they have angels and there are 2 spoilers.

 

I can make only one way, no angles first. so. it will only up.. noting more. and that don't look very nice,

You want to make a spoiler for the Veyron, that could be moved up and down like the windows in other cars??

Yes. Follow post #182 instructions with files : Koen_CC8.bnk and Koen_CC8_I.bnk

 

After searching it appeared that files somehow contain physics data ! You problem is certainly due to the fact the Veyron files contain the btrq file associated to Edonis ! That would explain why max speed is not the same any more.

 

I'm going to look for more details about that.

Its not only the maximum speed, acceleration is also slower

What do this mean?

Is it something with the aerodynamics or the weight of the car that is changed because of having another 3D Model?

And is this not a possibility for cheaters to make their cars faster?

I haven't tried to tune my S7 yet... only tested from a car dealer for 1.30 minute !

Same problem again, no solution :(

Is it possible to use the non-carpack-koenigsegg? (CC8S i think)

Nothing particular, it seem to be good.

 

Anyway, do you think putting the Veyron onto the Saleen would change max speed ?

 

Stock S7 is @ 230mph (365kmh)... so it's logical the Veyron can't go to 250 mph (400 kmh) unless you go to the tuner.

 

Car stats can't be changed with actual modding !

The Car i drive is tuned on stage 3!!!

I also tried to buy the S7 new and tune it but its the same result!!!

Perhaps you can upload your Bnk1.map and i can try it with this?!

Car physics can't be affected by file swappings. Please try to restore backup of every file you've modified so far, including Bnk1.map backup, then try to replace the S7 by the Veyron ("Edonis") files again.

Everything is restored.

Now i replace the old map-key.xml by the new one you attached in your post.

I replace the Sal_S7TT.bnk and the Sal_S7TT_I.bnk with the Bugatti files.

Now i start TDU Modding Tools.

I click view > advanced.

I click on Map Tool.

I choose my \Euro\Bnk\Bnk1.map

I make sure that your new map-key.xml is chosen.

Then i click load.

The list appears.

Then i click Fix All...

?!

perhaps i did a mistake so you can check this^^

Limit removed for Saleen S7 files. See my previous post.

 

Modifying limits for Koenigsegg CCR was pretty easy for the tool; it was not the case for the S7. So i had to find manually which map entry corresponds to Sal_S7TT.bnk : I changed sizes to 0 for possible entries and checked when TDU crashes :lol:

i did this and now the S7 looked like the Bugatti.

I copied the backupped Edonis files back to "Vehicules", so that this car is normal again.

But i think that there is a mistake

The S7 got slower, i cant drive 400 with this car?!

without wind shadow it only drives ~380?!

I did the whole process again, same problem, it cant drive 400 ...

You can test it (if you rename the files to the saleen). But shadow gt has tested a lot off cars, and the only car that it worked with is the Maserati Gransport

From our German TDU Central News:

Über das Problem mit der Dateigröße, welche immer gleich bleiben musste, braucht man sich nichtmehr zu kümmern. Das Limit kann man bequem mit dem TDU Modding Tool ändern, sodass es zu keinen Komplikationen kommt.

The problem with filesize is not more there. The limit can be changed easily with the TDU Modding Tool, so that there are no more problems.

(possible that there are mistakes, sorry for that^^)

Solution for using Veyron instead of Koenigsegg CCR :

- Replace Koen_CCR.BNK and Koen_CCR_I.BNK files with renamed files from Veyron archive (make backups first !)

 

- Make a backup of Bnk1.map in Euro/Bnk folder

 

- Open TDU Modding Tools (don't forget to set TDU root directory in settings !)

 

- Switch to Advanced Mode and start "MAP Tool"

 

- a file list should appear (lines of Koen_CCR.BNK and Koen_CCR_I.BNK file names should be in red)

 

- Click on "Fix all" button.

 

- all done.

I think most people want no lights, but 2 versions would be enough imo.

I don´t care if there´s no final version with turned on lights, that´s the choise of BasBas

Why do you want lights on in the day time though?

The best solution would be to turn it manually on or off of course

its your decision but if i was you and this is possible, i would make them a bit darker, so that there is a difference to see when i am breaking or ask somebody for a race

PS: It would be cool to have the car in 2 different colors. I dont know if this is possible (again^^)

because if you edit the color of the nismo in the luxery car paint (sry for my english), you can choose a "detail color", i think...

I Just tried it and its amazing

But i wished that it would replace a non-megapack car

I Think a saleen s7 would be good:

The Bugatti needs 2.5 seconds from 0-100 and the high speed is 407

The S7 in stage 3 needs 2.7 seconds from 0-100 and its high speed is 401

I dont know if its possible, but i liked to have a veyron instead of an s7

Another question: will there be a modified sound??

The Edonis sound does not fit to the veyron;)

Please don't request release dates. It's becoming very annoying. It will be released when BasBas is happy with the results and feels he has done as much to it as he can. He has worked hard so far.

i downloaded this R8, because i like the car very much ;-)

Will there be any updates for this Creation or will it stay like this?

I´m not able to drive in cockpit view, because i cant see out of the car (black windows).

To open the doors or windows also dont work in the garage.

The ligts aren´t in right position

At least the wheel cases arent all right
