Ok, it´s a little late (2010 to 2015) but I want to share this crazy race I have did some time ago...

You must replace the "Triumph Time Attack" (TSFE0009.IGE).

I call this race as "Dodge´em" because you must look at your map/radar almost every time to avoid a collision

The bots are class B and C cars, so... you need to select first your car in your house/garage and them enter the race (you cannot change the car on the race menu, cause it only shows Triumph cycles!).

Yes, this is possible too. Using a Hex Editor, edit the IGE file that belongs from the race you want to run. A way to do this, is using the DOS command FIND as follows

FIND /i "<full or part of the race name>" *.IGE

EXAMPLE: If you want to find what IGE file is from the "The forbidden fall" race:

FIND /i "the forbidden fall" *.IGE

FIND /i "forbidden" *.IGE

If you do it right, you gonna find the RSFE0022.IGE.

Now, with the IGE file founded, edit the following adresses:

0297 - Change to 00

02A7 - Change to 00

Now you can enter the race with any car/moto.

Oh, an important information.

Before entering the edited race, choose your car from your garage or a menu race that originally are NO RESTRICTION rules (Ex. "8 drivers make a record" or "Tour of island").

A few time I´ve looking into euro\bnk\IGE files and I could create a different race. If you want to try it, follow instructions above:

-Make a backup copy of euro\bnk\IGE folder

-Download this file http://rapidshare.com/files/284598914/RSFE0002.IGE.html

-Overwrite RSFE0002.IGE file located the euro\bnk\IGE with the downloaded one.

-Run TDU and play the "The Jaguar Classic Race"

if everything goes right, you will run a race with a XJ220 as required car and challenge another 5 Saleen Twin Turbo.

If someone try, please tell me if worked or not!

Always make a backup of euro\bnk\ige folder before edit the files!

Using a Hex Editor, open the RSFE0029.IGE (Tour of island) file. Here some description of adresses of RSFE0029.IGE (Tour of island). Change they as follows.

01CF - NUMBER OF OPPONENTS (FROM 00 TO 07)

01EF - YOU MUST CHANGE VALUE TO 03 TO ALLOW SWITCH CAR GROUP

0237 - CHOOSE OPPONENT CAR GROUP FROM 00 TO 06 (FROM GROUP A TO GROUP G)

It´s possible to make another changes like choose the oponnent car (model or manufaturer) and edit checkpoints (yes, you can create a race!).

I´ve using a Hex-Editor and opened some IGE files.

i take the RSFE0029.IGE (Tour of island) and i change some values

adress 2307 - choose class of opponent car

00=A class

01=B class

02=C class

03=D class

04=E class

05=F class

06=G class

adress 1E0F

01 = Opponent car is the same you choose(you must chage value on adress 2001 to 7C to take effect)

03 = Opponent car same class as defined on adress 2307

04 = Opponent can race with any car

in adress 2907 if you change value to 00 you can allow the race with 'cars only'

Some information here isn´t 100% precise, but i could race the 'tour of island' with G class cars and others.

Yes Iced_Bullet, it only change the body, but not the the specs of the car!

I´m looking for a way to change the class of a car or (better) change(or select) the class of a race, for example, run a race of B class with D class cars (include opponents). I´ve look the IGE files but i have no idea how to change this!

First, i want to congrat the forum, cause was the only place that i´ve found nice information about mods on TDU!

Now, my question... I want to change the class of a car, i´ve already downloaded BNK Editor but i need some help to know how to change this!

another question is... can i change(choose) the cars or change the class of a race? Example: I want to run the ´Tour of the Island' race only with class G cars, can i do that?
