  1. Looks cool in the thread, good looking model sound plus physics mods aswell. Unfortunately it doesn't work here. I've tried with the installer first, game was crashing after the intros videos. I've uninstalled it, game was now crashing when getting out of home. I've manually replaced the SLK 55 files by yours, the game works but no S2000, still the SLK 55 ingame :/

  2. It's a Corolla in the US, Trueno in Japan.

    .

No you're wrong. It's a Corolla anywhere in the world. And Trueno is a submodel of the Corolla. Like Levin.

The Levin is called AE85 and the Trueno AE86. The Trueno is the sport version.

No that is wrong too. The Levin exists in AE86 version and the Sprinter in AE85 version. That has nothing related to the fact it's an AE86 or AE85.

The AE86 generation of the Toyota Corolla Levin and Toyota Sprinter Trueno is a small, lightweight coupe introduced by Toyota in 1983 as part of the fifth generation Toyota Corolla line-up. For the purpose of brevity, the insider-chassis code of "AE86" is used to describe the whole range. In classic Toyota code, the "A" represents the engine that came in the car (the 3A and 4A) and the E86 represents the 6th revision of the fifth generation (E80 series) of the E model which is the Corolla.

And before someone come and say that there's a difference in the names.

Corolla isn't just a word in the Levin name, it's a model in Toyota's list, any car using the E as model code in the Toyota chassis code(AE85, AE86, AE92 etc...) is a Corolla, it doesn't matter if it's called Corolla or Sprinter or Banana.

  3. Probably putting out around 10-20% more at the crank.

Hell of an impressive video. Now to be fair, Block isnt the best driver in the world... put him in a rally car on a rally stage and he looks a bit wandered!

Now how impressive would someone like McRae or Loeb etc etc be behind the wheel of that?

Fully agree. Ken Block isn't bad, that's sure. But there's better driver than him and not a few numbers.

I'm more impressed by a video like Climb Dance with Vatanen or the Vatanen video on Isle of man than this video.

For those who don't know those vidéos:

And if you really want to see mad skills plus insanity, just search for some rally group b on youtube.

  4. If you want to start to do Parkour, do it with some people who have a real experience into this sport, and who practice with learning steps and in safe conditions.

Else it could lead to severe injuries.

Doing sports like fitness or rock-climbing could be a good start to prepare your body to Parkour, it's easier to find a proper structure and easier to start practicing.

  5. Where can i find the settings for pedals sensitivity and deadzones please?

I'd like to tweak all that because i don't like much how it's handled but i can't find where it is. I'd also like to know if the FFB can be tweaked to get a better response. I don't like much the fact there's no ffb feeling when close to center.

    Thanks.

  6. I've been playing PT since open beta. It used to be a great game but it changed a lot and not in the best way imo.

I spend more times to find a proper room than anything. I finally ended doing time attack and drifting in Sim mode in Practice mode. As i've been playing for a long time, i got a bunch of cars with enough upgrades to have fun. But for a new player you need to spend your whole life to advance after a bit of playing.

Special darwin award for the drift mode, which is an epic failure.

It's a game that had a great potential, but poorly developed with stupid ideas.

  7. Hey all,

i'm not new to TDU, i've had the game for a moment now. Though i haven't played it a lot, i was waiting to see how far the modding could go and looks like it goes quite well. I've resintalled TDU just right now(old hdd died a few weeks ago), and was checking this forum during the installation, i thought i should register and say hello.

    Thanks for reading.
