A Range Of Off-Roaders For Your Outback Driving Needs
This week we take a look at the best vehicles to tackle the Outback with. From Buggies to 4x4s, these rugged motors are not afraid of Australia's challenging terrain. If you missed last week's Forza Garage you can find that here.
1971 Meyers Manx
The original Manx buggy, designed by Bruce Meyers, features a light-weight chassis and fiberglass body with the suspension and engine from a Volkswagen Beetle. A classic go-anywhere vehicle.
2011 Penhall Cholla
A destroyer of dunes. The Cholla debuted at the Baja 1000 in 2011 and won in it's class with a four hour lead. Four hours. No matter what the environment throws at the Cholla, it can't be stopped.
1979 Toyota FJ40
The FJ is famous for it's offroad capabilities despite serious competition from Land Rover and Jeep. You may remember this one from the Top Gear Bolivia Special. Of course, Hammond's car was a "convertible" and for the most part broken in various ways. At least in Forza you don't have to worry about it's reliability!
