Blizzard Mountain Expansion
The first Forza Horizon 3 expansion pack, teased earlier this month by means of no more than a glimpse at a tyre parked on a snowy surface, has been named and info about what players can expect from its purchase revealed.
The 'Blizzard Mountain' expansion is coming out on December 13th and is bringing with it a first for the Forza series – snow and ice. This expansion will have players fighting blizzards and tackling huge elevations in their goal to become the King of the Mountain.
Set on a snowy mountain playground with extreme alpine conditions, players will explore the new environment which contains an extreme sports snow park and a massive frozen lake within its boundaries, in eight new vehicles, including the 2016 Ford GYMKHANA 9 Focus RS RX and a new brand new Barn Find to seek out.

Race events have been specially designed to be rather gnarly and enhance the chance of those playing shouting out 90s lingo such as ‘radical’ and ‘cowabunga’. (what am I on about?!)
Outside of the main events there are bonus boards to destroy and beauty spots to enjoy. Along with the ability to put a new available upgrade of snow tyres onto any vehicle to confidently tackle the new road conditions.
A new batch of 28 Achievements worth 500 Gamerscore will also be able to be gained through the pack, of which you can view below. (shame there isn’t one for skidding through a barrier during an event and crashing down the mountain in my opinion)

There is a small discount available if players stump up for the Expansion Pass. That gets them this expansion plus one other, whereas Ultimate Edition owners can be happy knowing that they can take part in the discount love also, with a bigger discount, but only if it is bought before the end of 2016.
