SCS have released their latest updates for both American Truck Simulator and 2012's Euro Truck Simulator 2! Responding to the feedback from players, SCS has introduced support for Steam Workshop which allows for players to download and install mods, all from one place without worrying about safety or breaking the games. This also gives players a community to offer feedback and easily stay up to date with the latest mods. Mod creators will be happy to see that SCS have also included a dedicated tool to aid them in modding, the SCS Workshop Uploader.

The latest update comes with yet another new feature - the "Ultimate Wheel Customization". Previously the wheels in the game were just one model, so to change your rims, you changed your entire wheel, which as SCS say themselves, wasn't ideal.
Now SCS has created multi-component wheels. They already recently created separate tyres and discs, but now you also have hubs, hub covers, and nuts (calm down squirrels, not that kind)! These features are now in Euro Truck Simulator 2 as well as American Truck Simulator.
And in typical SCS spirit of really polishing their games, they've included a number of bug fixes, improvements and added features. Check out the full change-log below.
