    nice.

  2. the surface roads are easy, its all the freeway on and off ramps that get to be a pain.

it will take a while, lots of roads to cover. great time to find your favorite car

one thing...when you hit the last mile or so of the road leading to the race track, it will not change color on the map. no matter how many times you drive it...so dont worry about that

  3. ya know, reading all these various wish lists, i have to say that i hope it never gets made. dont get mad,listen....in order to accomodate the thousands of requests for ingame features, you may have to have an entire computer strictly for the game with 150 TB,3 top of the line video cards, if not 4, the absolute best video capture programs,

the latest and greatest wheel/pedal set up, fans that can move 3,000 CFS over the motherboard which is also the latest and greatest available, and the game will have 5 discs and cost $250.00. did i mention that it will come only in Dolby 13.1 mega surround sound and require 6,500 watts of stereo power? getting in a head on crash in game could cause soft tissue damage in real life.

finding the dealership you want could take 45 minutes just looking at the map, there would be roughly 1,256 different race challenges, numerous delivery/model missions, with all the models talking serious trash about your car. we will need to have roughly 3 body shops per mile to accomodate those who wreck there car, 999 mechanics to change our oil, brakes, tranny fluid, fix broken axles from being a little to wheel spin happy

and various other minor problems. oh and dont forget all the tire stores we will need, drifting can wear a tire out pretty quick. and all the mod shops, man that will be hundreds of them to visit for vinyl, wheels, interiors, stereos, hydraulics etc etc etc.

oops i almost forgot performance upgrades. with so many cars in the game now, it will take quite a while to find all the tuner shops. with so many new brands, we will all spend the first 2 or 3 months just going shop to shop trying to unlock all of them, just in case we buy a car that fits their abilities.

and i know i have forgotten some important things.

so yeah, given all the above, and knowing how much time many members here would spend in game, i hope it never comes out. if it does, civilization may cease to exist.

of course,if we are playing the game, would we even notice?

  4. man, if it was not for the physics mods, and some mega-n00bs in game, i would have never moved on to Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. so thanx for that.

but yeah, with all the mods, cheats, and hacks out there a drag race is best limited to a select group of friends. there are just too many ways to beat an honest player who plays the game the way it was MEANT TO BE PLAYED!!!!

  5. is it possible to make the mod downloads available for a price, if the mods author agrees?

nothing outrageous, 2 or 3 dollars per download. or a subscription fee of 25-30 dollars a year for a certain amount of downloads, and of course for an extra 5 or 10 dollars you can be placed on the Preferred list of people who know about the latest available downloads a week before anyone else.

    but wait, theres more............

you will also be sent the latest news we can find regarding the much anticipated sequel to TDU.

all this for only XX amount of dollars per year

yes. i watch too much TV. but is something like this feasible/legal?

  6. the most difficult car to drive is the ME crysler prototype, with seven speeds, requires full concentration and control the throlle all the times; I play hardcore mode with no aid whatsoever and driving that car is like driving on ice, is very difficult to find the limit , is a nightmare specially taking a set under presure on the track.

next time you are in game, look for a guy named kennek43....(i think those are the numbers, name i am positive of)

i have never seen him in any other car, he may have some pointers for ya

  7. maybe because the car was parked so close to the house, he was able to pan back and to the side and "enter" the house......otherwise i dont know. the left corner of the pool is visible when in house, but the car is parked by the right corner.......

best thing i can come up with is go to your house, park real close to it, and play with the camera

  8. to get those pictures they had to do a screenprint.

on your keyboard you should have a key marked print screen. click that, go to "paint",edit, paste, save to "my pictures", download to photobucket or image shack or whatever. it takes a few tries to get familiar with it, dont get frustrated

  9. Hardcore becomes available when a player hits Champion level which happens when you hit 450 points by whatever means necessary. i dont think that can be accomplished solely by driving 5,000 miles at the track. you still need to do other things, be it buying cars thru trade, sharing 3 drive in challenges, winning 3 drive in challenges, selling cars on trade, completing the missions, driving on ALL the roads, buying 3 fords or X amount of cars or houses or certain brands of clothing....basically, there are many ways to get the needed points

  10. unbelievable...cannot believe that bullet actually had enough inertia behind it to go thru a roof and still hit the child with enough force to kill him.

but it enforces something i have always believed, when your time comes, your time comes. Death never discriminates between a youngster and an old fart, and everyday it occurs in some truly sad, cruel, unusual and even tragic forms world wide.

so enjoy the life you have, it could be over all too soon.

and go tell your family you love them, NOW.
