This is probably a fairly common question, but why? I don't understand why you wouldn't want to.. Tint adds a huge amount to the exterior styling of a car. I love most of the models people do on here, and wish I could have the drive to finish the models I want to use, but the only thing that kills most cars is because of the crystal clear hideous windows. I don't fully understand the texturing methods for this game, and whether it simply cannot be done due to alpha restrictions or what not, but I would really love to see some new releases with tinted windows. If it can be done I don't see why you wouldn't.. I don't mean to piss anyone off that has contributed to the downloadable world of this game, but it just seems downright pointless to keep the windows clear.. Please let me know if there is an obvious answer to this, or if it is just preference. Thanks -Ross

Best bang for your buck is a GTX260 core 216 from NVidia. I only run one of them and I get 200fps with full settings on 1920x1200 resolution. They are selling for real cheap nowadays.

-Gas. -Food? -More dynamic weather. -Be able to park your car when you go somewhere and have it be in the same spot as you left it. -Be able to get out of your car at home and at interactive places. -Take pictures using a 'free look' type view. -Assortment of tracks(drag; grand prix?; autox) -VoIP(I have a feeling this is already in TDU I guess I just havent figured it out.) -In single player have different settings for cop awareness. Maybe even be able to buy a radar detector. -Maybe for VoIP use cell phones.(In game) -More customization variety and more specific. -Tuning capabilities. So that people that know more about cars can actually show it in game by having a well tuned car. -Dirt roads, rally tracks, mud trails. -ATV's Jetski's Boat's SUV's -More JDM cars. Mostly Subaru. -Make your online profile accessable on multiple computers. As in, I could be at a friends house and login to my account and have all of my cars houses and money. -Be able to walk around your houses and garages. -Have cars be transferrable between houses. -Have an option to target a destination with your GPS if you don't want to teleport. Can't really thing of much else right now but those would be nice.

I bought this game last saturday and have since been addicted. I drove all over the island, unlocked all showrooms and nearly all the roads, delivered over 20 cars, bought 5 houses and atleast 13 cars, did tons of challenges, and now thanks to my friend I have lost it all. I let him play while I was setting it up on his laptop and he decided he wanted to restart so he hit 'New Game' instead of creating a new profile. I've been looking to find a good way to somehow restore this lost savegame, but the search on this forum is kind of odd to use. I've seen a couple ways people have suggested but none seem to work. I just tried restoring my computer to earlier today, but that didn't work seeing as it only restores windows files. I tried copying a savegame from my offline into my online after completing the prerequisites(buying first house and car) and that did nothing but duplicate my offline profile in game. So I have two problems now: 1.) I am unable to login to my account with my gamespy ID because it's telling me that the nickname is already in use, the one I used before everything got deleted. I still have the folder to that profile in my savegame folder, but it shows up as my offline name in game. I need to know how to be able to login to my online account again using the same user name. 2.) Also, obviously, I need to find a way to restore my old profile so I can hopefully get my cars money and houses back. I'm thinking that the old file may be sitting somewhere "deleted"? Or does it get overwritten? If anyone knows any good ways to actually restore this file to a previous version before it was overwritten that would be amazing. Also if anyone knows any other techniques on recovering my profile please let me know. Or possibly if they know where the old file may be if it wasn't overwritten.. Any and all help is very much appreciated.
