Hello everyone! I had this same problem. The solution for me is: at-tab/alt-d to desktop while running TDU in the background. Start Winamp, or another music instance, and start a song. Then pause, again. Now go back to the TDU screen. And your sound will be ENABLED. It's not a fix, but rather a workaround. I hope this may this help you.
