  1. There's nothing wrong with variety or having options. I'd eventually get around to trying out the car's from the 90's. If people want to cruise in a supercar with others who are in supercars, all they have to do is create a cruise in the forums here (or the official forums) or make use of the club features.

That said, I don't want NFSUG style old cars that can be upgraded so that they perform like supercars.

Yeah we gotta try the 90`s cars. And they want to cruise in supercars they can drive with 100 km/h.No need for them to floor the cars.

  2. As much as i'd like a Old Cozzie or MR2, they dont really it TDU's image!

Classic's like the E-type, 300SL, 250GTO and along that lines are the sort of cars that would be in it! And a mix of the biggest 80's cars such as the F40, 959, Countash. And for the 1990's you'd have the biggest ones as well.....F1, XJ220, Diablo and that.

More 'everyday' classics like Cozzies, MR2(AW11) and Scirocco's would't realy fit the image!

Well thats why we got tuning kits for..:thumbsup:some ugly bodykit a la NFS and the car it`s done  Nah i`m just kiddin` well those "everyday"classics are gone..i haven`t seen a decent 190 E in ages or a nice BMW E21(Shark Nose)So i think there should be some more history.Cars from 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990`s.

  3. Personally i think there should be different cars...If i got a let`s say Trabant where is the point to bring out a Gallardo for me ?So drivable police vehicle i`m not quite in to it.Most of them will be imature kids that are going to run on the highway with their sirens on and ramming everything.

  4. Hi guys, I thought of some ideas which I think TDU2 should have for driving. So we know you can walk around places, so this is a list of some things I thought of to go with walking around.

    - Turning off the engine

    - Shifting to the park gear

    - Releasing the seatbelts

    - Take the key out, or press the ignition button

    - Getting out of the car

    - Locking the door (you don't want a stolen S5S Raptor, now do ya?)

    - Closing the door

    - Parking in the middle of a highway/road results in traffic, and possibly a ticket from the cops

    - Being able to walk around with others

    - Walk to stores/club houses/diners/houses with your friends :D

    - Walk back to your car to find out some 9 year old is ramming into your Zonda with an SUV :crying:

Anyway that's all I could think of. I know they're basic and they seem like a bunch of steps, but it would be really fun to be able to do this. Right? :]

You guys could help think of some if you want and I'll put it in the list.

    I love your ideas.Nice.

Well, there is one very easy solution to rammers, just use an SUV yourself, and considering that almost all rammers have no driving skill it should be relatively easy to ditch them somewhere.

If we are gonna be like those imature kids i`m gonna ram the water out of them with an SUV plate number:1M4TUR3

  5. If you notice from some of the images shown in the mags, the number plate areas on some cars show front and back (Audi TT-RS) and back only (Dodge Viper). They are also just plain white so maybe they are blank just awaiting our artistic creations to be planted on them. :)

    Never noticed.Maybe you are right.

  6. That's cool. I love USA plates with all those background images on them.

Yeah. And the posibility to have only a plate either in front or back, like in Pensylvania you have to have your plate number on the back and in front whatever you want.

  7. Easy now, and sfy is just saying what TEST DRIVE has been since it's inception, all about supercars and driving them really fast.

Todays kids want a lot of stupid cars in games because they watch them in certain cartoons and think they are great as they do one thing and one thing only. However pure classics like those you mentioned definitely deserve a place in a game like this as even the richest of the rich would probably love to have a mint Mercedes 190E, Escort Cosworth, Audi Quattro, Mini Cooper, BMW M5 E34, BMW M3 E30, BMW M1 Procar, Lancia Delta Integrale, Lancia Stratos and of course many US classics too. The odd icon from Japan would be good too like the original Skyline upto the new GT-R and of course the legendary NSX and even a Supra. Other than that though the cars only dreams are made of is what makes TEST DRIVE great and if Bugatti are in I really hope we get the EB110 and oh praise be to Eden give us a Dauer 962 LM!!

As Churchill once said: Oh yeeeeeeeeeessss!

I've read something about a Devon GTX somewhere in the past also, that car looks mental!

Nice Diablo now that is what i`m talking about.I like what you have said. Finally someone is with me.Thanks man.

  8. I wouldn't consider cars from the 1990s to be classics... More like a '69 Camaro or the 300 SL. Those would be a nice addition ot the game.

First of all many ont the 1990`s have become classics.Like Ford Escort Cosworth, Mercedes 190 Cosworth etc etc

Of course! They're amazing. And I hope there will be a lot more than in TDU1.

BTW: I don't consider 90's cars to be "Classics" either. At least not yet..

Yeah many of them are not yet classics but some are.May some 90`s racers will appear in game

    HECK NO!!!!

as i have said before, good cars but unworthy of being in TDU2.

the blueprint is pretty clear as far as the cars expected in a game such as TDU. stick to the blueprint, dont be bringing in average everyday cars.

Man that`s mean. How about they don`t put any supercars in game ? what do you think about that?

  9. I really hope they add a cossie or two :)

It would actually be nice with a "Used Shop" like Gran Turismo have. Maybe TDU2 starts like TDU1 and you visit a Used shop or scrapyard where you can chose between alot of 20-40 years old cars to buy for cheap money (since you doesnt have much). When you get more money you can eather tune/style, buy tuned/styled cars (trade) or go back where you bought the first car to buy others.

It should've also been like the more "rep" your car has the more value it has when you sell it.

I`ve made up another Thread with Used Car Lot.Start the game go to a Used Car Lot , see a car , buy it , drive it away. And it would be nice to have some oldies in game.

  10. So i`m a big fan of old european cars like Ford Escort Cosworth, Mercedes E320 CE, Opel Calibra, Opel Vectra A, BMW 5 series E34, BMW 3 series E36.So mostly the 1990`s cars.I`d love to see some of them in TDU 2.What do you think?

  11. Personally, i'm not bothered about bikes. I never use them in TDU, I stick to cars. However, if bikes were to be included in TDU2, they should certainly improve the physics. Maybe I would use bikes a bit more that way. TDU's aren't that bad, however they do need some improving. So I vote yes, new physics are needed if bikes are to be included. ;)

I agree with you.But some guys are bike fans so all of this are for them.

  12. TDU2needs Document also mentioned about the bike physics, especially walking back instead of reverse. IIRC we said something about physics ala PGR4/MotoGP would be great.

Yeah no more reversing just walking back.I`m not a bike fan and today i wanted to see how the bikes go.They run pretty good but the handling is bad and the revers thing unrealistical and wheelie at 250 km/h? Don`t know about that

  13. He's not a kid. He's just asking you to explain why you think the old physics were crap. You know, so it gives the developers of the new game an idea of how they could improve them.

Just saying they are crap is the childish way of going about it to be honest.

Then Diablo is childish right?I`ve explained why we need new physics. And i`m still in for them.
