  1. Thanks guys, yeah gonna see if I can add some nice motorcycles into the game, to be honest the ones in it don't look as good as the cars, at least the Kawasakis they really look awful, and there aren't a lot of them, either.

    Normal maps

Noticed there isn't any info on how to set up the materials to use normal maps on a custom model, like it's used on the original cars for interior details, tires, brakes, etc. Been searching the forum and couldn't find any info, sorry if it was posted and missed it. Any ideas?
  3. Well I'm in for the bikes as well, gonna try to get something in, if possible... couldn't find much info in that regard on the forum. I figure it's the same process as the cars? I'll try to find out. I'm a biker myself so I'd love to see my own in a game, I currently own a 1992 Honda CBR 1000F and a 1984 Kawasaki GPZ 550 wich I restored and it'll look kick ass in a game like this hehe :D I have some bikes modelled, wich I could try to get into the engine as well, here are a couple: Sorry didn't mean to hyjack the thread... so if any mods think this should be elsewhere, go ahead :o
  4. Hi guys, thanks for the welcome and the tips, and I'm currently doing some research with the tuts and guides:thumbsup:very useful stuff here!
  5. Hi guys, just found my copy of TDU lying around and I thought of giving it another go, and found this nice forum looking for custom cars for it. I'm reading through the tuts and posts about modding, I'd like to model some cars for this game and make them work, wich I'm sure it's just a matter of patience and time. Oh, first things first right? my name is Daniel, better known as ADR from my previous work for Carmageddon 2 (started in 2001) and some old NFS models as well. I'm a senior 3D artist at a local videogames company here in Buenos Aires, and have some freelance projects as well. This is my website, feel free to browse around: http://www.a3drstudio.com/ Well, hopefully I'll stick around if I can figure out how to import cars into the game and all that stuff wich I'm new at. Later! Dan.
