Ok well now it seems to do it when this happens: I click on "challenges" on the map, it proceeds to say "Connection lost" and right when I click on OK the game freezes. Any ideas? I do have a legit copy.

I think that did the trick! Played for about 45 minutes with no crashes! Will see how it goes from here on... Thanks a lot! EDIT: Actually it still does it...it takes a longer while to do it now but it will freeze. This time the sound doesn't loop when it freezes...

Well that sucks there must be another alternative...I don't understand why it's doing this but in any of my other racing games.

Hi guys This started happening a while ago but just posting it now...during gameplay the game will just suddenly freeze. The sound does loop but then just cuts altogether. I can exit the game by doing ctrl-alt-delete in Windows 7 and then going to task manager. I have reinstalled the game to no change... This happens between 30 seconds of playing the game and possibly up to 5-7 minutes. Thanks, Elliott

Hey guys I installed Windows 7 since I got some new PC parts, then installed TDU, and then the TDU megapack. Although now that I'm playing I notice that I do not have any of the megapack features...the new cars...the new dealers, etc. So I went to install it again and : What gives? :( Thanks, Elliott

Hey guys I reinstalled TDU because I reinstalled my OS aka formatted and then reloaded my saved game and all was well. Then I went to do some challenges and found that every time, no matter what challenge I chose, it always transported me to some location on the grass and it was messed up. I recorded a video of it happening to show you guys what I mean. Sorry that the video quality isn't the greatest but recording full screen at a good frame rate is hard. Well I tried what you suggested. I copied my TDU folder in My Documents to my desktop, started TDU, closed it again, and then copy/pasted my files back into the TDU folder in My Documents. It still doesn't work and all I'm greeted with when I open TDU is this: http://74.52.147.194/~devilthe/uploads/1245696005.png :( I think all my saved game progress is gone because in my saved games folder there are two "playersave" folders. I delete one or the other and the game is still the same. I started a new game when this happened to see what would happen and I think now I'm really screwed.
