I have about 7gb left.

I have been playing this game for a bout a week now and all of sudden it wont run smoothly anymore. The only thing I did since installing it is install Team Fortress 2. So I am thinking the game is the issue? When I first start playing it runs fine but no matter what I am doing, after about a minute the framerates drop like crazy.
