  1. I'm mecha from F-body Faction, a modeling group I formed with Azrael back in December 2002 (our projects date back to August 2002 however), we specialized in creating models for the Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird for the Need For Speed series (High Stakes, conversions to Hot Pursuit and Hot Pursuit II, and recently Most Wanted). I come here because a converter used one of our models without permission, but everything's straightened out now. I personally don't play TDU much anymore, but I bought it when it came out in 2007 and enjoyed joyriding in single player with it. it's great to see the game is able to be modified, not sure when that started, but I think every single one of these games should have mod capability OUT OF THE BOX. it encourages the generation of new 3D modelers, and I think that's a great thing. :) I don't anticipate any projects for TDU in the near future, but if anyone's interested in converting cars for us, let me know. you can find our work at http://www.nfscars.net and http://www.nfsaddons.com, which I have served as a moderator for NFSCars and am currently an administrator for NFSAddOns. thanks.
  2. it's certainly an Impala SS. I forget the exact factory colors, I wanna say it came in black, burgundy (maroon), and a very dark minty green. there could've been more in the '94-'95 models, those were slightly different from the '96, which is arguably the best one, because they were converted Caprices. the Caprice was a slow seller for civilians, it was mostly a fleet car, and American cops even still today swear they were the best ones ever made. I wanna say the C-pillars were changed for '96, the C side windows didn't curve inward, they angled diagonally to the bottom. I don't know anything about TDU moding, I'm not sure if you can create wheels for it or not, but I think I had the same rims in .z3d for one of our Firehawks. only major problem I have is with the Impala badge on the trunk, it's way too big. that, and you should probably change the model year to 1996, cause that's what it is. :) great model, I think Pumbarz used to convert to GTA for us years ago, he's pretty good.
  3. I'm mecha from F-body Faction. Azrael and I have worked on possibly over 100 car projects over the years, and given the quality of our cars and the car models (Camaro and Firebird) our models are commonly stolen by communities outside of our native NFS. we pick up on these types of things, if you weren't already aware. you can ask the GTA community how it felt. ;)
