Update:

I'll get rid of sunny day in this version because of non-natural change from fog to bright blue sky and sunny day.

I'll release tyre snow chains for traffic and our fancy cars sometime during day.

I'm trying to achieve that snow-is-always-white look and feel. So far, so good. Grayish color is no where to be found. :D

Obviously, HDR must be set to off. :p

I managed to add one more weather type and it's a lovely sunny day. I tweaked FX.ini too and edited height and size of grass/bushes, they are a bit larger as if they are covered with bunch of snow.

But not everything is so great, and I got major bug - main map is covered with fog. :S Dunno what happened, and dunno how to change it. So we will just have to used to it. :p

Maciuk can't be contacted over PM. That's why I'm writing my own weather lines. I've taken a bit different aproach and my code is much more lighter (only 228 lines instead of 4143 lines). Because I'm learning by myself meaning of commands, it's a painfully process but it's going very well at the moment.

If all go as planned, I'll release it (hopefully) tommorow.

Yes, but this leafs. "Feuille" in particles.bnk, use the modified particles.bnk for snowflakes.

I'm using modified particles. So far I didn't saw any snowflake... :(

Many of us are already enjoying in wonderful crazy winter mod made by Opelos_HUN (which can be found here in case you are wondering: http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=15313). Who said driving our fancy cars on Hawaii covered with snow wouldn't be so fun?

But, if you played for some time, you probably noticed lack of proper weather that will perfectly suit this cool winter mod. Few weather mods like (Night&Mist, Weather mod by Maciuk...etc.)

can be found, yes, they are great... but are made for normal Hawaii sunny summer day.

In order to have real winter feeling, we need real winter weather. I'm trying to achieve that snow-is-always-white look and feel. So far, so good. Grayish color is no where to be found.

So here comes iLLusion Winter Day mod!

At the moment, it has (only) 3 types of weather. In next version(s) I'll try to add few more weather types.

With fog (we will imagine it's a some kind of a blizzard in distance), snowflakes flying around all the time (aka paper on windy day) and brighter snow? At the moment, only way we got real looking white snow is at night. Over the day it got grayish color...

This mod is great experience. :D

Now we just need some weather mod with fog and snowflakes that are there all the time. And adjust some settings to make snow a bit more brighter. :)

Finally! My download is over. I waited all night long to download these files, but the wait is over now. I'm going to extract it, copy it and drive my BMW on snow roads for the rest of the night... :D

Yea people, be patient. It's all we can do. Don't be a little crybabies. :p Opelos_HUN spend couple of months and numerous hours of his free time while making this mod for our community.

And he decided to share it with us... for small amount of just 21$. XD Joke, it's a joke. :D

We just must be patient for a little while and then we can all enjoy in this marvelous mod. The best environment mod avaible for TDU until now, I think we can all agree on that. We should be very grateful and happy to be able to drive our fancy cars combined with this kind of cool mod.

I didn't think about all time night......i think that if U lunch the game when is night on the Oahu u will have enough of night when the sun rise will come :) ... Dispite of this, i alweys ask myself when i'm lunching the game, what will i hit :P ...night, storm, fog ... i think this makes game mutch more funny. :D
