  1. I replied in the posts : you should try to get the Checksum utility and download the checksums file. This will allow you to detect which segment is corrupt and reload it. Tell me if you're still stuck...

  2. Did you try to download from a different source and verify the checksums ? Is it really the first segment that is corrupt ? Maybe the zip software gives the error on the first segment despite it's another segment that is bad. I remember when I downloaded the first time Crazy Winter mod, I also had some damaged files that were not extracted. I downloaded again everything with no issue. Concerning the autoinstaller version, you can verify the checksums to be sure of the file to download. Good luck TD38
  3. @2CV SUPER GT Yep, I found these differences with a comparison utility. But I wanted to warn users as I know some (I won't tell the names :D:D) who did not at all think this could happen... What is the use of the .3DD file you replace in the 'commonworld.bnk', depending on the config ? TD38
  4. You posted the same comment on my 'Autoinstaller' thread... which zip are you trying to extract ? Winter autoinstaller or original winter with no autoinstaller ? Usually, you just need to download again the corrupt file as it is most of the time a file transfer problem. TD38
  5. Yes it also happened to me when I checked if my own files were working... TCP/IP is not a perfect protocol... Just download the checksums file, and the checksum utility. You'll know for sure which file is damaged... then you'll have to reload it ! Then you can upgrade to "Season mod installer" to have all the other mods available and eventually make your own mod package :D TheDuck38
  6. I went through this issue also yesterday when I used this mod in combination with the HD mod... in fact, changing the GPU setting did work, but I got the problem again after starting the FRAPS Fps counter (just did Alt + Tab, started Fraps). Even after stopping Fraps, the issue remained. I had to restart the game to bet rid of it. So I think sometimes, the video settings are "jammed" by windows or other softs, especially if U use the Alt + Tab to switch to windows without stopping the game. TD38
  7. Hello modders, Just a little comment : I'm preparing an install of a combined 'Island Paradise', 'Nature V8' and 'HD V1.0' and as I like to know what the installers do, I just went through the .pch files... In fact if you want to combine several mods using the auto installers, you may have problems as it installs the files in the requested order (let's say the order I mentioned before). So it will install the required FX.ini of the island paradise, then the one of the Nature mod, then the one of the HD mod... Stop me if I am wrong, but in this case, the final FX.ini is not containing the correct parameters for displaying Island Paradise or nature ressources (ie GRASS settings)... In my case, I had to compare the FX files to gather all correct settings for different mods I want to combine. In most of the cases using successive installations will work if the files are different. But as we are playing most of the time with the same files (the ones that change environment), it can induce some unwanted results. I certainly don't want to criticize anybody or DJey's installer, just want to underline this point to anybody who would think it's just click and play with modern installers... So, for the modders who now give a smart installer (which is a VERY good thing) : maybe it would also be interesting to list all the files that will be installed and in which bnk they will go. 8. Sorry, missed one post. That's maybe because I went reverse in the thread :):):)...
  9. Hey mate, The strange shadow running on the road in front of the car seems to be linked to Island Paradise mod plus GPU settings. Have a look here Bye TD38
  10. I was just telling Rubie38 that in his videos there's a strange shadow running on the road at the car's speed... Could detail a little bit more the changes you made on your GPU ? Bye TheDuck38
  11. @teamdox The weather won't change, unless you combine a specific weather mod with this one (usually, you need to replace the weather.ini file) @patys You need to put the roadpatch.bnk in the "<TDU app folder>/euro/bnk/details/" folder. Don't forget to make a backup of the original file... in fact, you should make a backup of you entire TDU foder, just in case you add some other mods.
  12. This duck reminds me something........ but what ? Thank you for this kind attention :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol: TheDuck38
  13. Will try this right now... looks very promising !!!
  14. Hello Ozzmcom; Which OS are you running exactly ? TD38
  15. Great !!!! I look forward playing TDU with those cars...
  16. Yesss, please ! The 'contest' is still valid. Just post your pictures and links... TD38
  17. It's funny to see how many answers there were while this topic was in the wrong category, and how many since it was put in the correct one...
  18. This is, I suppose, because you didn't install previously the Crazy Winter Edition Auto installer (1,2 Gb to download)... Check my signature, and it is the first link. The Season Mod app will install only if you already have the Crazy Winter Auto installer in you TDU folder. Check also the readme file in the Season mod files. TheDuck38
  19. You can drag and drop the whole files series in modding tool. Open the commonworld file, back in windows : select all the files in file explorer, and drop them all over the original files in modding tool. They'll all be replaced at once... TD38
  20. Please, go up 7 posts in this thread. Reading other users comments can be helpful for installing mods... TD38
  21. It works for me (downloaded today), with 7-zip. You may have got a corrupt file; just download it again... TD38
  22. Filefront is updating to Filefront2.... some files are unaccessible for a while. Here's another link... http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BLFRFZJB TD38
  23. True, same problem... Strange, as I downloaded it right after upload to test it. It was working yesterday. I'll upload it again tonight.... TD38
  24. OK, the SetBush file is not the problem cause, as the app just replaces files whatever they are... Is your Bios update the possible reason why you had random files errors ? If yes, it would explain everything that's in the log file and I still don't really understand... Here's the restoration files archive : http://www.filefront.com/17132781/Restoration-TDU-Normal-mode.7z/ Just expand the archive, and in the folder there is a readme file, saying where to put each file. Drag them manually at their correct place. Normally this should restore you game. Just tell me if the game's still corrupted. If you solve your file issue, you may want to give another try to my app (it's worth, if working... :)). Consider making a complete backup of your TDU folder before, just in case; then re-install everything (make sure to clear before any 'TDU Seaon' folder or 'Hawai winter' in "euro/bnk/level")... TD38
  25. I don't understand, do you have 2 versions installed ? One on a 64b OS, and one on a 32b OS ? And you only get errors with the 32b version ? What do you call 'original setbrushs' ? Did you make a backup of the TDU folder before using my app ? The bloom mod should not interfere. I'll make a package of the original files and upload them. So that you can replace the correct ones.
