thanks for your advice :) Im gonna try it out now. BlueAce, Im actualy using windows 7. Tdu runs fine but what you posteed make complete sence will try it asap! Blackhole522 thanks for your input aswell to reply i did install mods and had to replace bnk1.map to install them but then i uninstalled tdu and installed again with the same result. either way will try your both of your ideas this afternoon. Ok now as i did im sure some people are unsure how to add mods to tdu in windows 7 because the tdu modding tools app doensn't want to work correctly. so im just going to explain(In simple manner) how to install it without tdu crashing! (DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK! I CANT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANYTHING THAT GOES WRONG WITH YOUR PC OR TDU!!!) OK to do this you need the following: -TDU -Windows 7/vista/xp 64-bit/32-bit (32-bit ONLY if ur modding tools dont work) -Magic maps -a downloaded car (try here or WWW.TDUADDONS.COM) -PATIENCE! Ok do the following: 0.Make Backups 1.Download and open MAGIC MAP(attached) 2.replace the one in your install directory eg. c:/Program files(x86)/atari/Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/BNK (Your directory may differ eg. 32-bit is plain Program files(usualy)) 3.go into c:/Program files(x86)/atari/Test Drive Unlimited/Euro/BNK/Vehicules 4. Download your car(if you havent already) 5.Drag the to files in this type of format into the folder : eg. 300_C.bnk 300_C_I.bnk 6.now for your rims, in Vehicules there is a folder named rim. In your downloaded car's folder you should find one to, Copy that item in to the Vehicules folder (Replace when asked) 7.for audio (engine sound) copy it here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\Sound\Vehicules 8. Guages go here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Test Drive Unlimited\Euro\Bnk\FrontEnd\HiRes\Gauges 9. YOUR DONE!! Please ask if u have any problems!:thumbsup: You can also change car names to be replaced! Also if u know how to make tdu modding tools work in windows 7 64-bit please post so that all who are having trouble can have a easier solution than this [mod edit:] Please get the magic map from Djey's post, thanks!

i just bought the tdu megapack from atari and when i tried to install it it said no tdu installed on your system! so i download the tdu regitry fix and the setup started fine. But then it popped up and said "Error opening file for writing \Euro\Bnk\Bnk1.map" I say ignore but then it contiuosly pops up about every file it tries to install and over and over again i try retry and then ignore and it skips ALL the cars! Is there anyone who can help me with this problem? for instance someone who had the same problem and fixed it or has the same problem and is looking into it? PLEASE I REALY WANT TO PLAY THE MEGAPACK! i have added an image of the first popup.

I have windows 7 64 bit and it runs perfectly. My pc stats: CPU : Intel Pentium 4 2.66 ghz G-Card : Nvidia 8400gs Ram : 1 gb. If ur pcs stats are better or equal to mine tdu should run perfectly!

Hi guys I have tdu and i have some awesome ideas for cars that i want to design. What software can be use to do this and save it as a bnk format but also is it hard to do this? Any help would be appreciated

Yeah this all makes sence and i agree it would be awesome to just have seperate show rooms for my custom cars but the problem still remains, How would one add the images for the logos and how would you prevent the game from crashing?(seeing as how it does that ALOT!). Either way would love to know how.

yeah i want the same thing. I've got a slow Internet connection so i cant play online with my friend but if i had a lan mod he could come over and we could cruise around the island. I'll look into it and let you know. I also PLEASE aask EVERYONE who c's this to Give me an answer!
