I am very sad to hear about what is happening. :(
I know how the redundant Eden employees must feel (happened to me 3 times so far).
Hopefully the talks between Eden and Atari will be successful.

It's just how the licensing works, unfortunately. Within a licensing strategy, you have to allocate your costs effectively to get the most value inside your budget.
For example, it costs more to add customization for a licensed car. This is because it allows the car to be represented differently than the manufacturer might like it to be displayed.
From the car company's perspective, there is less advertising potential if the car looks different than it does in commercials, and even less advertising potential if it looks ugly (i.e. if people choose ugly paint colors/sticker schemes). Due to that, the companies tend to charge more if players can modify the appearance of the car.
The same goes for vehicle damage - obviously the car companies want their cars to look slick and shiny, not beat up with the fender falling off. So adding this option costs more as well.
Overall, the goal for us is to give our players the maximum amount of cars, with the maximum amount of customization, that we can fit into the budget for car licensing.
Thank you very much for the clarification atari_destra. I have been wondering how the car licensing works.

Remember the cars can't be painted.
Hopefully this might be changed in the future. I would love to see some more factory color choices.

I agree, the steering is not satisfactory at this moment. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed in the future game patches.

Steam is going to be available from 10AM PST.
I am hoping that my Gamestop digital download will be ready around that time too.

Haha, horn sounds awesome. It sounds like a duck or something:chewy:
Of course it will be in the top 5 of EVERYONE'S most driven cars. Its fast (also on off road, 200 km/h:thumbsup:), it has a nice appeal, and it sounds good :)
Maybe it could be an official car for the TDUCk duck...;)
It will be on my car list for sure.

I will for sure drive/own the following:
- Citroen 2CV
- VW Beetle
- Buggy
- Ford Mustang Fastback
- Ford Mustang GT
There may be other cars/SUVs/bikes as well. I will test drive them all and pick the ones I like.
