Of course, i wont give you a cookie cause the shipping would cost more than the cookie itself but i think you kinda guessed it, so as the atari tech support and few other forums failed at helping me, i'm trying my luck here
(also this is pasted from my support ticket because i got lazy to rewrite the whole story but i edit it as i try some stuff)
My problem:
ok, so I bought the green pepper version 1, no wait its 2 weeks ago and each time i run the game, after 10-15 mins it crashes, either i'm getting artefacts on the screen and it totally freezes or it freezes but the graphics are without artefacts(rare), sometimes the sound loops sometimes i can still listen to the ingame music with no problem, but in every case i cant return to windows with Alt+tab, neither with Alt+f4, neither with the task manager shortcut, so the only solution is the reset button.
What i already tryed:
1. I tryed to delete this radial.cdb and created a folder called radial.cdb as i saw this is a solution to this problem but didnt worked
2. I tryed to make a new save and its the same problem
3. I tryed to reinstall the game
4. I tryed to run it in any compatibility mode and "run as administrator"
5. I formatted my pc and reinstalled Windows 7 x64 with a fresh copy from msdn with my activation key ( yeah its a legal one )
6. i saw something about 5.1 sound not beeing compatible with Windows 7 and tdu, well it works fine to me but i tryed to force stereo and bam, again the same thing ( i even tryed to unplug my speakers but its still crashing )
7. yeah i already updated my drivers to the latest, meh again crashing
8.I tryed to replace a fresh copy of the nvldmkm.sys in the drivers folder
9. i tryed to create a registry key who was meant to fix few problems but it fixed it only a little bit, before i did it, the game crashed my graphics card too (no signal on screen) and now im getting either a black screen or a freezed image on screen with artefacts.
(TdrLevel DWORD with a value of 0 I also tryed a value of 3 but still the same problem)
10.I tryed to unplug my GTS250 and plug in my on board video but as espected it lagged like hell but i think it worked fine as i left it run for over 2 hours without crashes but after plugging back my gts250, i tryed to leave it for 2 hours and it was fine, 10 mins after i started to play it ( moving the car and doing races) it crashed again ...
11. i asked for help in the tdu1 forums, in the tdu2 forums, in the nVidia forums, and as mentioned before, with the support service of atari but none of the solutions worked(for atari they just didnt answered me untill now(2 days)
