  1. Yes i tryed to install older drivers, and i think my gpu is just fine, plus my DvD is brand new, its the green pepper version, the last keys created in the database of Atari or TDu whatever. I'm gonna try to higher the fan speed while playing but i doubt it will help. however , the atari tech support told me they sent an email to the eden game devs. they might know why this happens.
  2. ^^ well i bought the card from ebay it was new and sealed and stuff but i dont think i have warranty from Palit
  3. I think the memory drops because with the crash it just doesnt renders / saves anything anymore just like you were shutting down windows and the ram goes to 0 used. and about the load, i have no idea. sadly i have the only "up to date" computer in my house so i cant plug some old AGP cards ^^ EDIT: ok so the tech support answered and whoa yey (i sent them a video yeah) Hey Nyrem, Thanks for the video! In reviewing the video it appears that the system could be overheating, either the graphics card or the processor and so we are seeing the computer shutting itself down. While we can't troubleshoot this directly, we can offer the following suggestions for your processor: * Check your BIOS to ensure that your processor is running at a safe temperature * Disable any overclocking * Make sure that PC cooling devices, such as fans, are operating optimally Check that the latest graphics drivers do not have any known issues with overheating. You can always revert your graphics drivers to a previously dated one but this may negatively affect newer applications. You can also reduce the strain on your system by shutting down background running applications. It may also be worthwhile to run a memtest on your hardware. We apologize for this inconvenience but appreciate your understanding. no its not overheating :/
  4. Oh My Godness, i think its my gpu actually when i crashed, the load was on 100% and it was when i was chatting with a mate on tdu it was quite hard to get it crashing and i noticed when it wasn't crashing, i wasnt connected with anyone, however look at this, im'a trying to play on the lowest settings
  5. It looks normal to me but the temp were still going up so i'm gonna try to leave it log untill i crash
  6. Ok i'm going to do this, i'll be back in few mins
  7. But if its my gpu overheating/too loaded what can i do ? underclocking ? and why can i play ANY other games at maxed settings and more demanding ones at high for example, Battlefield bad company 2 maxed or GTA4 nearly maxed and even benchmarks like furmark with 4xmsaa AA with no problem ?
  8. I know this sounds like an overheating but its not, i ran Furmark for 2 hours with 70°c max and its not overclocked also the 10-15 mins is only when i move the car, if i let it in the middle of the road watching tv i can "play" it for 2hours and more
  9. Thanks, you're probably the only one who thinks that :D
  10. Of course, i wont give you a cookie cause the shipping would cost more than the cookie itself but i think you kinda guessed it, so as the atari tech support and few other forums failed at helping me, i'm trying my luck here (also this is pasted from my support ticket because i got lazy to rewrite the whole story but i edit it as i try some stuff) My problem: ok, so I bought the green pepper version 1, no wait its 2 weeks ago and each time i run the game, after 10-15 mins it crashes, either i'm getting artefacts on the screen and it totally freezes or it freezes but the graphics are without artefacts(rare), sometimes the sound loops sometimes i can still listen to the ingame music with no problem, but in every case i cant return to windows with Alt+tab, neither with Alt+f4, neither with the task manager shortcut, so the only solution is the reset button. What i already tryed: 1. I tryed to delete this radial.cdb and created a folder called radial.cdb as i saw this is a solution to this problem but didnt worked 2. I tryed to make a new save and its the same problem 3. I tryed to reinstall the game 4. I tryed to run it in any compatibility mode and "run as administrator" 5. I formatted my pc and reinstalled Windows 7 x64 with a fresh copy from msdn with my activation key ( yeah its a legal one ) 6. i saw something about 5.1 sound not beeing compatible with Windows 7 and tdu, well it works fine to me but i tryed to force stereo and bam, again the same thing ( i even tryed to unplug my speakers but its still crashing ) 7. yeah i already updated my drivers to the latest, meh again crashing 8.I tryed to replace a fresh copy of the nvldmkm.sys in the drivers folder 9. i tryed to create a registry key who was meant to fix few problems but it fixed it only a little bit, before i did it, the game crashed my graphics card too (no signal on screen) and now im getting either a black screen or a freezed image on screen with artefacts. (TdrLevel DWORD with a value of 0 I also tryed a value of 3 but still the same problem) 10.I tryed to unplug my GTS250 and plug in my on board video but as espected it lagged like hell but i think it worked fine as i left it run for over 2 hours without crashes but after plugging back my gts250, i tryed to leave it for 2 hours and it was fine, 10 mins after i started to play it ( moving the car and doing races) it crashed again ... 11. i asked for help in the tdu1 forums, in the tdu2 forums, in the nVidia forums, and as mentioned before, with the support service of atari but none of the solutions worked(for atari they just didnt answered me untill now(2 days) System specs: CPU: AMD Phenom II 945 @ 3.0GHz (stock) RAM: 2gb GPU: nVidia GTS250 1gb green-edition (not overclocked) PSU: 750watt, far enough OS: Windows 7 x64 I BEG YOU, HELP ME, i'm getting mad now...
  11. Hi folk, I'm Nyrem and i recently bought tdu and i fell in love in it (no not that kind of love).
