Downloading this beast, gonna give it a look over and post a review video on it. :p Edit: Archive is missing the HUD gauge in hires folder. Only issue I found was that the front turn indicators are located where the high beams are at and should be on the strip below the low beam lights. Refer to video starting at 3:09. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=id=ZbtIUV0wAQ8;t=189 Edit 2: My character is using the upshift paddle to downshift and the downshift paddle to upshift. Seems legit...

released Lamborghini Miura SV Sound Mod
MichaelB450 replied to Ramon1991cobra's topic in Car Customization Mods
Yep, that sounds so much better now. Great job! -
Great work Minime. Can you make a thread on the forums later with 2 screenshots (front side and rear side) of all the mods you have made? I would be more than happy to link it my review video of your RS6 mod. Edit: Are the interior gauges 3D? In that screenshot of them in a 3D modeling program it really looks like that (especially on the "RS6" badge). Also you switched the interior gauges to be in KPH?

released Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta sound mod
MichaelB450 replied to MichaelB450's topic in Car Customization Mods
Sound mod is getting redone... Current version will stay up until I get the redone version finished... Edit: New version is moving along (slowly)... Transitions are a bit of a pain to get perfect, but I will try to make them as unnoticeable as possible... Edit 2: Here's a beta of F355 Version 2.0: (deleted) Let me know of any issues, also I suggest testing the sound on the Ruf RGT since the file is based to that car. -
Ferrari F355 F1 Berlinetta Sound Mod (Version 2.0) Credits: Assetto Corsa | Startup sound from this archive Welcome to my fourth sound mod that uses Assetto Corsa sounds for most of the engine sounds, using sounds from the Ferrari 288 GTO. I am aware that the sound mod isn't perfect in the sense that the sounds don't mix too well, but I have tried my best to make them mix together as elegantly as possible. Sound file is named differently for vehicle that the F355 F1 Berlineta 3D model replaces, simply rename the sound file to "evora_high" and the sound will work. Just be sure to make a backup of the original sound file, in case you ever want to revert back to the original TDU2 files. Video Preview: Download link: F355_F1_high Changes History: Version 1.0 - Release; based to Evora sound file with increased redline. Version 2.0 - Reworked entirely; based to Ruf RGT sound file now; sound files the same as first version. If you like my sound mods and would like to show some support, you can donate me some money. Donations are not necessary, but are greatly appreciated! Donation link

Looks good to me, I was wondering if it would come with a plate and plate lights but now my question is answered. XD Edit: This will be your first public mod in about 1.5 years...

released Lamborghini Miura SV Sound Mod

I am considering making tutorials on sound modding... But I am not sure if it would be a worthwhile video to make in the end... -

Use this tool that Binbow created to convert the Hex numbers to a float. You can also convert float numbers to Hex, which you will overwrite with the new number you want. -
released Lamborghini Miura SV Sound Mod
MichaelB450 replied to Ramon1991cobra's topic in Car Customization Mods
Also keep in mind that certain "EngineLoad" and "EngineUnload" might control different sounds. In general the first "EngineLoad" part (either 0 or 1) is the idle sound and the other "EngineLoad" parts are the engine RPM sound files. -

MichaelB450 replied to Ramon1991cobra's topic in Car Customization Mods
Well what you need is a HexEditor and Bindows "Hex Converter." Of course know where to look in the .XMB file. Edit: Here's what you need to look for... Anything with the name of "EngineLoad"; "EngineUnload"; and "EngineStart." Everything in the image that's highlighted in red represents the name of what it controls, in this case "EngineLoad." Everything that's highlighted in green represents the audio level of the sound in 3rd person views; hood view; and bumper view. Everything that's highlighted in blue represents the audio level of the sound in interior view/1st person view. Keep in mind that the 3rd person view audio Hex group will always be 4 Hex groups to the left of the name and the interior view audio Hex group will be right next to the exterior view Hex group (to the left). Hope this helps a bunch... -

If the original sounds are already sitting at 0 dB in Audacity, then I would not amplify any further since it would really affect the quality of the game. You can also do amplification in the .XMB file, I will post a screenshot in a minute showing what I mean. -

I think you amplified the audio too much, which is why it sounds bad in the RPM sounds. I suggest reducing the amplification of the RPM sounds since it sounds like the audio is clipping to extreme levels. Also, the horn doesn't loop very well. -
released Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Sound Mod
MichaelB450 replied to MichaelB450's topic in Car Customization Mods
Also, I'm considering changing the idle sound to be more correct. But as a result it would be a lot quieter. Right now I feel that the idle sound sounds like it's at a much higher RPM and I am considering changing it. Let me know if I should change it or leave it... Edit: I have decided to keep the idle sound for now... -
released Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Sound Mod
MichaelB450 replied to MichaelB450's topic in Car Customization Mods
Update: I have fixed the bug of the interior startup sound being too loud. It's on the same level as the other sounds sounds when in the interior view. Same download link as before and the file size stays the same. -
You sir are an artist. I say that you and StarGT are about equal in terms of skill to convert 3D models. It's a shame that you don't release all your 3D models for people to admire... Anyway, great job!

Nice, looking perfect now. Hope to see it up for download soon. Also, I assume that there will be custom made gauges for this mod as well...?

released StarGT HD Traffic : 2009 Ford Fiesta (for Ibiza)
MichaelB450 replied to StarGT's topic in Vehicle Mods
That's what I thought... -
Okay, OCD is cured now. Can't wait to download this beast and admire your hard work. Edit: Actually, one last thing for the interior to make it perfect. The red LEDs that glow near redline are missing on the model (see picture). If the 3D model is from Forza Motorsport 7, then those LEDs should have come with the 3D model.

Looking good dude, the gauge needles not glowing with the gauges is bugging me though and the hand positions are a little bit off. But I assume you are already working on fixing those problems.

Ibiza_police is included in the archive for some reason... Vehicle replaces "ibiza_low_b" actually, or is that an error in the archive? -
released Audi Quattro S1 Sound Mod
MichaelB450 replied to Ramon1991cobra's topic in Car Customization Mods
Interesting, the RPM sounds are a lot higher pitched than the originals. Almost sounds like a Viper with the pitch changes. -
released Audi Quattro S1 Sound Mod
MichaelB450 replied to Ramon1991cobra's topic in Car Customization Mods
Where did you get the sounds from? Because it sounds a lot like a sound mod that someone else made for Assetto Corsa, which if that's the case you'd need to get permission to convert it... -
released StarGT HD Traffic : 2016 Volkswagen Passat VR B8 (for Ibiza)
MichaelB450 replied to StarGT's topic in Vehicle Mods
Looks pretty good, but the light textures look really low quality. But it's not too big of a deal... -
Nice one StarGT, checked the 3D model and it doesn't have any problems. I can try to make a sound mod for this, but I can't promise anything...
