I had the same problem with a handbrake with a hall sensor. It worked in the crew, but not in TDU. I replaced the Hall sensor with microswitches and an Arduino board and now the handbrake is also detected.

What I miss a lot is the adjustable sitting position (I drive almost only with cocpit view). For TDU2 there was the program "camara hack" - but unfortunately it does not work at TDU World -
