  1. I've been serching for this answer but can't seem to find it? I know if I say "Are there gonna be online races" the reply may be stfu newbie! But can you use WLAN to play friends nearby? Not to mention there is internet Connection on the PSP? But I don't think it can support that online gaming stuff now do you?

It will proberly be like the 360 version, no internet connection, switched to offline mode.

    Prolly wont have LAN

  2. alrite, sounds a bit weird. why not just play in the comport of your own home againts online people and friends

More sociable i guess, you get too meet the people youve been playing with online. Clans have lan partys, my UT99 clan had a few , never went too one like cause i was way too young and they were hosted in sweeden most of the time :whistling:

  3. whats this lan party thing, what do you do

Basically it would proberly be a large hall, everybody who has turned up , sets their computers up in the hall , and plays against everyone else in the hall (LocalAreaNetwork) , sometimes they may play sepretly , for instance when i used to play UT99 (addicted) many of the people i played with in clan matches was at LAN partys.

  4. If any of you caught the episode in the last series where the lads went caravanning, I think you'll agree that, bar a few hiccups, it all went rather well. In fact, even as we watched the firemen put the last of the flames out, there was a general agreement that Jeremy, Richard and James should try this holiday lark again, and so, this week, you'll be able to see their American Fly-Drive special.

The trip began in Miami, Florida, but instead of renting some dull saloon with white paint and velour trim from Avis, the three of them were each given $1,000 and a morning to see if they could buy an interesting car - a car with a few character lines around its grille, and a few stories to tell - for the same money you'd spend on a fortnight's rental.

As it turned out, the buying alone was worth a film, because $1,000 doesn't actually get you much any more, which meant our expat trio spiralled further and further down the food-chain of Miami's car culture, until they ended up in a part of the city where the car dealers were outnumbered by the crack dealers.

Clarkson's salesman, for example, broke out his handgun and telescopic-sighted rifle much more often than he did his Glass's Guide. Eventually though, cars were bought.

Jeremy, typically, overstretched himself and bought a five-litre Chevy Camaro, the murderer's muscle car of choice. In fact, it even had the shirt of the last hitchhiker victim stuffed in the boot.

James, true to form, returned with a 15-year-old shagged Cadillac that had its suspension tuned by a trampoline maker, and Hammond, always a big fan of Brokeback Mountain, arrived in a battered old Dodge pick-up truck.

With the buying done, the adventure really began. The TG holiday cars had to be tested, so they headed north on an 800-mile road trip that aimed to take them up through Florida, across Alabama and Mississippi to the finish point of New Orleans. That's a tough trip for bargain basement cars that even the lowest low life in Miami wouldn't be seen in.

But to make life even harder, there were naturally some Top Gear challenges along the way. So tune in to see what happens when the boys run into the Stig's hillbilly cousin and find out what they cook up when they have to live off roadkill. If that little lot doesn't kill them, will the Alabama Inflammatory Statement Down The Side Of the Car Challenge finish the job?

Sounds a good one, one big challenge for the whole prgram? Usually we get info on the star in a reasonably priced car.

  5. Re: [REQUEST] Info on Downtime

My old host was amzing server performance and had a uptime record of 98%, in the whole time i had it (about a year) didnt have any problems what so ever. Apart from the fact the billing was from america so i was getting charcged for overseas transactions (£2.99) both ways, so an extra £5.98 every month, then i was getting random unkown transactions that didnt stop untill i cancelled my plan. Im sure all in all they scammed around £70 of me.

  7. If I Am Right...This Board is VBulliten Not phpbb

Yeh never implied i thought it was phpbb, as msot of them use just java scripts, doesnt matter what forum you use, its always BBcode, in some cases they can be server side , thats when the board matters.

Anyhoo, cant really find one, found tuns of them but no server side ones.

  8. I got one too:

A man nedds to get to work by 9:30,he lives one block away from his house. He gets up at 9:00 and arrives at 9:30.His boss immediately fires him for being late. How is this possible?

This one you'll have to figure out yourselves.

Never heard this 1 before, my first guess was his clocked stopped working , or something like daylight saving, but seems to ovious sooo, maybe he lived in the centrel time zone, and he worked in East/West timezone?

  9. its gone nowhere, the assistant ran after them with £5, they got £1 each, and he got the rest.

    that adds up to £5

    they all paid £10

I think you have the jist but its not all correct. Or atleast doesnt state it very well.

The sum was 9x3 = 27 + 2 yes ? Well they did all pay £9 but that includes the £2 that we add after , which the helper kept, which basically means they all paid £8.33 each which is £25 , plus they each tipped the helper £0.66 25 + 2 = 27 , plus the £3 they all got back , which equals £30 :)

Its basically tricking thereader by insisting the helpers tip and the the builders money are seprate.

btw I heard this but with a hotel being used as the paid receiver.

Yepp thats where i heard it which reminded me of this one.

Anyway, im off to relax, just got home from my first 9-5 job :bananahello:

  10. This riddle will take a bit of figuring out, i heard it a long time ago, on holiday with my family and my father told it me, its stuck in my head like gum. The beuty of it, he didnt tell me what the answer was, at the time i thought there was no explanation.

Tonight i was scanning around and saw it on a site, and it had an answer, and it made sense!

So ill share it. Dont cheat by scrolling down to see answers, until u truly give up.

    Here goes!

Theres 3 men on a buliders yard, they thought they could do with some music to listen to while working, so they went down to the local shop and bought a radio for £30. Each man paid £10 each.

After the 3 men left the shop, the shop assistant realised that there was a discount on that radio, and it was only £25, so he gave £5 to a helper to run after the men and give them there money back. The helper didnt know how to split the money so that each man got equal, so he gave £1 to each of the men and the builders insisted the helper kept the £2 spare as he was kind enough to run after the builders to give them their change.

So lets sum up, each man paid £10 each, they then got £1 back, which means each paid £9 so :

    3 x 9 = 27

    27 + 2 (which the helper kept) = 29

    Wheres the missing £ gone?
