My name is Baxie, and I used to be a Playstation Fanboy. I did all the same arguments as everyone else, when MS released the Xbox. I refused simple logic and as time went by I grew a lot older and luckily a lot wiser. Sony has shown their true colours, IMO, concerning the launch of the PS3. They are loosing touch with reality. While the PSP was a fantastic piece of hardware and designwise maybe some of the most sexy technology I ever saw, the most interesting bit about it was the UMD media. New, compact and concealed discs with low read-times less requirements for motoring and almost completely quiet, the PSP gave hope for a new and better way of delivering data. Sony, however, as usual completely ignored the fact that there is indeed a whole other world of producers,manufacturers and other parts of the production apparatus, which doesn't kneel down at the hole Sony altar and insisted that every bit of UMD that had to be burnt, cut, shipped or programmed, had to go through Sony. So no privately owned media-burners, no way of having the sexy tiny UMDs in the back-pocket for file transfers and more importantly no way of copying one UMD to another for a friend. So ok. A HUGE success for the moneymakers that be. And the business praised Sony. However, when Sony then proclaimed that the business wouldn't be allowed to do these things either, but rather had to go through Sony AND PAY things picked up speed, and today, like Betamax of the past, UMD is dead. In the near future. Another battle is being fought. HD-DVD vs. BluRay Disc. Who will win... In one corner, we have Sony who will require moviemakers to go through them to have BluRays cut shipped and distributed. And in the other, the rest of the world, with their existing HD-DVD's, their HD-DVD-Writers, their pirated software and their urge to store even more junk on digital media and to circumvent the moneymakers of the world. This fight will be the deciding factor in the war between the 360 and the Xbox. Remember. The only console that has ever been able to compete with the Playstation, is the only other console that has been able to use pirated software. I don't need to tell you who my money is on, do I?

it is a new movie to air in 2008. Although Diablo, I have to correct you, The III at the top is from the original and was the Voice-monitor when Kitt spoke. So I take it it is, as is the fashion these days, a remake of an old product, but now with a Swedish made car instead of a good old american Tranny Am! And now for the unpleasant part:

The average times of a lap in Sabines Ring-Taxi is 8.20 seconds. I was wrong though. It is 185 euros for a full taxi. So around 62 euros a pop. Here it is: Oh. And the ring is closed today for outsiders. Looks like someone is testing something. Should be a good day for spotting.

I have never experienced better timing, than with TDU. Well on my part anyways.... I saw a preview somewhere, and thought to myself: YES! This is the sort of game that I have been looking for. I want to be able to have a sandbox-racing game with online capabilities. I am getting a wee bit tired of browsing the cars in GT4, finding something fun, tuning it to the max, setting it up and beating the computer... again.... Online capabilities meant online opponents. Higher challenges... everything. Sweet. The review however, didn't have a release date, so the very next day I went to the EB games across from where I work and asked when it was coming out. The next day I lugged home my brand spanking new 360 and my insanely briefly pre-ordered copy of TDU. And my MacLaren F1 LM of course :)

Shows to be an exciting season indeed. GO BMW!

Trip in Ring-taxi was 75 euros if I remember correctly. We got the trip round for free, since we were press :) Also met and interviewed Sabine and yeah. She was the one who tried beating Clarksons 9.59, but ended up getting 10.08 on a superstripped Transit. Insane.

Ok. I dunno how to make that fancy playlist thingie, but mine currently consists of the following albums: Filter - The Amalgamut Filter - Title of Record Metallica - S&M Live Scrubs Soundtrack Season 1 - 5 Lots of variation in the Scrubs soundtracks. Filter coz it is just about the best bloody band in the world and Metallica, coz I am gonna see them in concert on the 13th of July!

2 times arrested Total fines: 481.250 Both times happened when a friend of mine was playing around with my account. :( I disagree on the damage-thing. I don't think that it would change anything, by putting in a broken windshield or dented fender. You crash a Gallardo doing 300 mph directly into a brickwall the last thing going through your mind will be your tailpipe. If you want realism, I'd wager that 90% of the crashed in TDU would render the car a complete mess. Looking forward to the settings in Forza as I have heard that the realistic setting actually means your car is dead and you're out of the race. That makes competative racing a lot more interesting, as noone uses you as a boost around a corner.

XJ220 288 GTO Ford GT

I know that I will be playing a lot more Forza than TDU when it is released. Partly because I get to drive a BMW (I have one myself), but mainly because you get to adjust and tune your vehicle to perfection. So that means hours on end finetrimming the car for that perfect drive through the corners on the Nordschleife in order to beat you all in my M3 GTR. Believe you me!

Got a ride in that car. Well fast. He drives the car around the track for a fee like Sabine Schmitz driving the Ring-Taxi. Expensive, but well worth it.

I pre-ordered from the EB Games shop here in DK and they said the official release date had been pushed from may 24th to june 8th and they are usually pretty good at that stuff. Pre-ordered the Limited Edition and getting a unique in-game car. Sweeties
