  1. Then the belt is completely gone:oook:

...and it doesn´t cause any problems anymore:P

Exactly. Would you rather have a belt which sticks out and half works or no belt and no problems? :D

I suppose you could always go through all of the possibilities with trial and error though, that's the only other solution.

  2. The sound is good on the upshift, but not on the downshift.

The off-throttle engine sound is non-existent, the blow-off valve sound is the only thing you hear, for an engine to sound that loud going UP the rev range, but having no sound coming back down, that's not right.

Listen when he downshifts, you can hear the engine loud and clear as well as the blow-off valve at the same time.

I have to agree with you here actually. That's the only thing that is letting this fantastic sound down...but I will still use it anyway, regardless!

Thanks very much for this Felix. ;)

  3. I found an album with some epic dream trance on, have been listening to it for God knows how long.

    Spotify link if you're interested

I will look for it tomorrow. Will give me something to do as you know I am a sucker for Trance. :D

  4. How do you mean "edit"?

Well, provided you have Adobe Photoshop, just open them up in there and do anything like...

    - Change the curves.

    - Adjust the brightness/contrast.

    - Alter the hue/saturation a bit or fiddle with the colour balance.

    - Smart sharpen them a little bit to make them crisper.

    - Crop them, changing the composition and removing the black border at the top and bottom.

    - Change the exposure.

    - Adjust the shadows and highlights making them darker and lighter and such.

    - Change the levels.

    - Apply Auto contrast/colour/levels.

    - Adjust the levels manually.

    - Add a photofilter.

    - Play around with blur such as motion or radial blur.

    - Add in lens flare...

I could go on and on but those are some of the ways I edit images from the game to make them look better. ;)

  5. Nice mod, will try it out.

I laughed at the start though as I kept playing the start bit before you start the engine, over and over again to find out what the red car that goes past and turns out it's an old 5 series!

As it comes nearer (with speakers turned up and a good sub) it actually sounds like the begging of an earthquake!

I know. I am the only one to find and question these things amn't I? :( ;)

  6. Loving the second one of the Magic Kingdom. Fantastic!

The tiger one is also good but it could do with a bit of work in PS such as brightening up. :cheeky:

Infact, I went and had a play with the tiger shot and heres the result with just 5-10 minutes in photoshop.

Hope you don't mind. If you do, I will remove it. ;)

I reckon my edit is maybe a little too bright though. I tried to bring out the detail in his/her face a bit more and regain some colour in his/her fur while restoring some exposure as well. As you can see though, there is a lot of potential for editing in Photoshop to make your shots far better!

I think it might be that you are shooting on a low exposure that your shots are coming out dark with incredibly deep shadowing especially on the car shots. I know it's difficult to get the right exposure though and to know how light or dark an image should be to give a balance. I remember when I first got my SLR camera, I had this issue and I just read up in the manual and learned how to increase the exposure of the shots and they came out so much better with less work needed in Photoshop afterwards.

  7. Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online Beta®

*You will need to create an EA Account or sign in to the one you have already created if you have an existing one*

I actually just came across this on the Nvidia website as it was listed on there in Nzone. I thought, why not give it a try as I like golfing games, they can be pretty fun with the right gameplay and courses.

Turns out I was right, it is really good, you can see other players on the course you are on and when they are taking their shot, although they are invisible but their ball is not. You can also chat to others playing the same course too.

The controls aren't too difficult, they may take a little bit of getting used to but aren't too complicated and I got the hang of it within 10 minutes or so.

It's a game which runs through your browser and I had no trouble with Firefox 3 which is what I used but others work too.

The game is absolutely free at the moment and doesn't require any beta keys and is available to everyone with an internet connection.

There are 8 courses to choose from at the moment, which isn't too bad. There's :

    - Bay Hill Club & Lodge®

    - Torrey Pines GC

    - TPC Sawgrass

    - Pebble Beach Golf Links®

    - St Andrews (Old Course)

    - Sheshan Golf & CC

    - Wolf Creek GC

    - Wentworth (West Course)

I suspect they will add new courses in the future and the game is supposed to be released in June sometime. It's yet unclear if a subscription will be required but micro transactions are expected for the game on release.

Also just in case for those on low-powered laptops and desktop computers, click here for the minimum specifications required to run the game.

I just thought this might interest some people here, it's a nice free game to play if you are bored and need something to do. ;)

  8. Light blue Bentley Continental GTC today, went across the roundabout as I was going home on the bus. My friend from college in his Jaguar XK again, (he's getting a loan of it from his parents apparently) my neighbour in his VW Phaeton going down to the shop he owns in one of the shopping centres in town and an Aston Martin DB9 late last week in a boring grey colour!

Also, it seems there's now an influx of BMW 6 Series Convertibles just now. I now see about 3 to 4 different ones on the way home from college. One, sometimes two usually in the college carpark owned by a lecturer/lecturers, one in a street which the bus route passes through and another in someones driveway who also seemed to have replaced their Audi RS6 Avant Plus with a 2009 Mercedes S500 with an AMG bodykit and wheels. Nobody seems to splash out on a proper AMG in my area nowadays...

...well saying that, there is that lecturer who owns the CL63 AMG who usually parks up in the carpark at college but it's only seen very rarely and that's pretty much the only AMG I really see!

I would love to see some kind of Ferrari or Lamborghini already... maybe theres potential nearer the summer.
