  1. Lincoln Navigator SVT and SVT Raptor

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Black Series Coupe

Infiniti GT-R (based on Nissan GT-R and turned into sedan)

    Whole Lexus line in scraps

    Cadillac Escalade-V

    Lincoln Mark LT SVT Raptor

Mercedes-Benz S-Class Coupe (not in CL form, S-Class front and back)

Ford Escort Cosworth in reproduction :D

    Audi C___ edition RS4

Lamborghini Gallardo w/ traditional Lambo doors

  2. I prefer Ford to the other two. Ford to me, seems to have more refinement than the other two, from experience from at least one of the cars from each manufacture.

    Chrysler:

I've never been a fan of Chrysler due to their quality and the fact they don't handle well (rented a 300 in Puerto Rico)....excluding the Dodge Viper, but maybe a 300C might change my mind.

    General Motors:

With GM, I'm impressed with interior quality in the Escalade, but I need to be in a lot more cars to be sure (been in Escalade and DTS). What I don't like is their powertrains in some of their cars. The Escalade has problems deciding to shift gears with two overdrive gears (probably because it's a rental), but there is no center console. I'm not a fanboy of GM, but I don't want them to die. There's the CTS-V, Corvette (one of my favorite sports cars), and Camaro.

    Ford:

I'm impressed with how they've changed. Quality has changed, but then again everyone has. Powertrains are getting a lot better with plenty of power and refinement (like GM), although I wish they would have more powerful engine in the 3rd generation Navigator. They've always seem to meet my family's needs and right now, they are doing better financially then the other two, and haven't taken any bailout money yet. I forever will be a Ford fanboy, and no day in my life I'll change to the other two. Plus, they made the first premium full-size luxury SUV from America, and also made the first American premium full-size luxury SUV with IRS!

    Don't forget the Ford GT!

  3. In cruising situations:

Don't Stop Me Now by Queen - You start to cruise, but telling me to cruise at 90MPH in a Mercedes is impossible because it feels so slow and you just end up going faster and faster lol.

If you've got American V8 under your hood then something like AC/DC is proper because you've got that tough feeling.

If you're driving a disco ball then I suggest some disco like Michael Jackson and Donna Summers.

If you want an adventure feeling cruise then you can go for some of Moon Child's M83 or you can go some of Deadly Avenger's We Took Pelham.

If your car weighs as much as a brick house then I suggest some Brick House by The Commodores.

If you've got the Eye of the Tiger in a cruise then you know what I would suggest.....right?

If you want some team mission adventure cruise then I suggest the A-Team theme song.

If you want a fun cruise then I suggest The Pointer Sisters' I'm So Exicted.

If you're chased in a mall by baddies AFTER A CRUISE then I suggest The Prodigy's Hot Ride.

And that's all I've got lol

  4. May I present probably the MOST UGLIEST VEHICLE IN THE WORLD! So ugly, your eyes will melt and if seen in public, the witness will die. May I warn to those who seek what this car is to have someone else you hate see this before you see it.

Warning: Ugly Vehicle is Dangerous and Viewing of This Shall Not be Attempted

P.S. How do I link links without ruining the surprise?

  5. Thank you everyone for your replies. ;)

Glad to meet a person who's experienced with the S-Class here.

Indeed, the main reason my father wants a car like this is because of the amazing interior espace, confort and power. This one especifically is the S400 CDI, which is equipped with a 3997 cc V8 turbo diesel engine producing 246 bhp @ 4000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 560 Nm (413 ft-lb) @ 1700-2600 rpm, and weights around 1990 kg (4387 lb). Well, by looking at these stats I suppose it can be quite the monster with the foot all way down, especially because of it's huge amount of torque.

My father has an idea of these car's reliability. He, besides the BMW, has a more "day-to-day" car, a '92 Mercedes-Benz 190E with around 75,507 miles and it never had any problems, besides the regular maintenance.

We recently got the answer on the car's mileage (161,557 miles) and we are now in doubt if it would be a good deal to buy a vehicle with so many miles, even though it's lower price and 1 year warranty...The dealer mentioned that most of those miles were done on the highway (100-140 km/h | 60-90 mph) but still, those are just so many miles...

Unfortunately there isn't any other S-Class whitin my father's tastes/possibilities at the moment, but it's probably better not to rush for a deal, maybe we should hold on for some time and wait until another one happens to come by, even though this type of car is rare to find around here, especially for a good price.

With cars like these, they're meant to be driven on the highway A LOT and I mean A LOT. They're meant to last a long time and one person from our dealer actually told us that the more you drive them, the less problems you have. Keep in mind that you should be aware that Mercedes-Benz were having some quality problems that time and you may experience some minor problems, such as wood trim that pop up, but by this time, the previous owner probably got it taken care of. In the US, it is possible to find an S-Class of that age with around 40,000-60,000 miles. We have an S430 with 65,000 miles and it runs great. With these cars, DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE CAR WASH EVER AS EVERY LUXURY CARS NEEDS PROPER CARE WHEN CLEANING. If I were you, I would see every car in person just to make sure it's perfect ;)

  6. ^^ nice of you to say which SUV it is :p

I'm guessing its the navigator though

Its got presence, I wouldnt call it very ugly, the design just looks very un-natural, like things have just been glued on afterwards etc

You mean sort of the flashy, unmatching and connected look. I agree, but to the general public, it's pretty ugly lol. Anybody not fancying the new S-Class rear end?
