  1. It's time... :D The public beta test is now live! You can download the client at the following address: DOWNLOAD. Remember this is a beta version; crashes and issues are highly possible during your gameplay! :) For the documentation (how to install, how to set an option,...) check the readme inside the archive. And of course, you can ask help/questions on this topic! Enjoy and have a good ride! :p
  2. If you have any question about the mod (and not suggestions or wishes please :p), feel free to check the FAQ or ask them here. (added some preview snips as well :D)
  3. If you use Nvidia Panel Settings or Catalyst, try to set the settings to default, it might help. (or maybe not, the cause of those crash all still unknown to me :p)
  4. A stupid error from myself, it's already fixed. :D What launch options are you currently using in addition of -fuel? Fuel will work in Single Player as well, even if TDU isn't really fun in solo... :p Fuel consumption is calculated depending your driving style (aggressive = high conso; normal; IrespectTheLimitations = minimal) but it's obviously a little bit tweaked to make the thing interesting. :D By The Way, I don't know if you already knok that but you can refill your tank at any time in a gas station so that's you won't have to teleport. :cheeky:

I highly recommend anyone who is currently testing to update manually (download from the usual link) to the latest update so that we can be sure how stable is it (and also if it is really glitchless or if there are still stuff to fix). Plus you'll have the ability to play with the fuel mode (using -fuel as launch option). :p
  6. Disable your antivirus / disable overlays software / check your 8889 port... all the usual routine. :p If you still can't connect, you can try updating to the newest client (even if it will probably be re-updated soon for some fixes it could help for now).
  7. It was supposed to be done, but after spending hours I didn't find a way to get this working correctly (or it was working for half of the map, the other half was completely messed-up). People I asked about that said it wasn't a priority so I left that for the moment. :p You might probably already know, but there is some delay with the public release (there are issues with the lastest version we made that are kinda complicated to fix and I didnt have much time to work on the project last week for myself...). Anyway fuel should be included for the first public release. :) If there are talented graphic designers in UI element (and who would like to participate) feel free to send your UI concepts by PM. (for the fuel gauge if you didnt understand yet :D)
  8. If you haven't already done so, open the port 8889 on your router, it'll most likely fix that issue.
  9. It's too specific and is impossible to be handled by the game. You'll probably need to have a look at the logitech drivers to get your pedals working. :) @Prince-Matt: your issue sounds like a conflict with xfire/steam (or any overlay soft. as I always say :D) In no way this could be linked to your savegame/options (if your game does crash as soon as it is launched).
  10. I thought the UPnP included in the code would be able to compensate that port opening, that's why I only recommended its opening during the first testing wave. :) But yeah, if you have network issue, opening the port is usually the answer to your problem.
  11. Disable any overlay software (steam, msi afterburner, xfire,...) and try again. If you still get issues, please update your drivers and be sure to have downloaded the directx runtime (see the readme).
  12. @jurcek: PM a screen of the error please. If you have the same error as X8X8X: disable/remove the Nvidia Geforce Experience thing or update your GPU drivers.
  13. We're looking for 16 new players for load test. :) The goal of the session will be to create as many sessions as possible (and to play of course). Post here if you are interested. :cheeky:
  14. Simply grab it from google and put it in your System32 folder (C:\Windows\System32). With the G27 dll or the game dll? Also the new client dll won't pop up the update window (same goes for the g27 dll). ANYONE WHO DOWNLOADED THE DLL: please redownload the new version (the old one was a debug release which might not work with everyone :) ). (same link as before)

Public release is really close, a lot of stuff has been fixed thanks to the playtest sessions and a lot of stuff are still getting added too! :) Speaking of new features, here is a stand-alone feature that should have been created when the 1.66A patch was released: a fix for the Logitech G27! (sorry for any other wheel users :D) This fix is especially for the force feedback issue in the 1.66A version but it also adds the wheel leds feature to the game! (yay colors :p) G27_Fix-0.1 Instructions are pretty simple: extract the archive to your tdu folder, and play! Also a small off topic question: does anyone have a map of Oahu with every gas station on it? There used to be one on turboduck but it got removed by the user. Thanks in advance. :)
  16. No update here (you wouldn't be able to connect anyway if it was the case). If you still get crash, please send the windows error report in PM. :) (next update should be live today) EDIT: I got the issue, it should be fixed this afternoon.
  17. For now, the code won't be released. Why? Because there isn't really a huge interest in creating different servers (as you know the server is only a relay). And yes, the server isn't that user friendly (most of the options would require the user to modify the code and it also require a specific gamespy setup). However if we ever close the server the code will be released. For now, the player session were limited to 8 players (since as I said the aim was to test the server performances) but the session can be bigger (if it works); just need to test that for the next test (we'll have to add more player to test obviously, so no need to PM me to get in :D).
  18. Red car means lambda player. Green is a friend and orange a club member from what I remember. (or was it in TDU2?)
