    Hello all, I had this problem when first installing the game. I've fixed it so I thought I'd post the solution..... The problem seems to occur when the user is using 5.1 Surround sound. It seems game only supports 2.1 at this stage.....although I find this hard to believe. To fix the problem: - Start - Control Panel - Hardware and sound - Sound - (Play back tab) - Configure (Bottom left) - Select Stereo Wasley

      Sorry for the late reply. Don't check the site often. I built my rig from Ebuyer - I guess this credit crunch is biting. I'm thinking of selling - Put the money towards my car (Seat leon). First car :) I think I could get about £450 if I parted it all out :D

        Btw dude how did you get your rig for £400? I've tried on ebuyer with your specs and can't get it over £500! Was that including a Operating system?

            It should go up tonight, it was on but then I screwed up something on it so I've had to take it off and gonna put it on again tonight.

                That's alright then, I have some Casecom thing. I'll buy a decent case when I have enough cash, saving up for a road bike. Gonna get one off ebay or something. Btw I may be able to put rFactor on Ebay today.

                  Mine idles 43c when I'm not gaming. Around 50c when I am - Just get a good case. I have hte Antec 900.

                    Nice! I've heard the card gets really hot though, is there downsides to it at all?

                      Its on board sound and I've never had my microphone plugged into the computer.....

                      The card is GREAT. I get 280 FPS on HL2.....
