    Well I only wanted to know because I wanted o change some of the interior textures on the DTM from noise3 to carbon. Like parts on the steering wheel for instance.

    What I'm wondering is, is there a way to edit the file without a 3D modeling program.

    Does anyone know of a program that can read these? from what I can see it tells the game where to assign materials to the cars, like carbon fiber for instance.

    I would think it would be specified in one of the files in the CAR_I.bnk, though I could not guess as to which one.

    Thank god it wasn't till you completed the game, it would have been unplayable, for me, without hardcore mode. It should have been a choice from the get-go.

    It seems that the darker the colors the better they show up.

    I really couldn't say how they did it, and the translation google gives me is a bit wacky. Maybe you should ask the maker what he did.

    I have never see shiny yellow rims.

    I've tried to make green/black rims but the green was a really light sea foam instead of bright lambo green. Tried to make all red rims to see if it was every color it was done with, and the red was really light salmon colored. Must be a setting in TDU.
