  1. Thanks everyone. Andresbo, I'm using version 1.12 Here is a quick pic of no helmet +normal clothes.
  2. Found some space I could free up to add more polys! Now the exhaust, black parts of the engine, brake light area, some of the steering, and soon to be headlight are super-high poly. Just ONE of the exhausts alone is almost 8000 polys. Edit: just realized that I forgot to change the color of the LED lights... lol
  3. Yes Thank you! It's just a hobby :) I work for a mortgage company by day. Thank you!
  4. Exhaust is to spec now :) Still need to tweak the pipe going into the bike though...
  5. Just did the stock version of the exhaust. I need to make it smoother though. Can't see it being too much longer
  6. No helmet mod [1.0] Creator: dc300m02 Images below Not sure if this is the right place?!? Make sure you backup common_clothes.BNK. Open most recent TDU Modding Tools -> File browser -> Avatar -> Clothes. Click on the "Common Clothes" BNK find "M_HELMET_RED_RABBIT" .2dm, .3dd, .3dg and replace (Ctrl + R in the most recent modding tools) with ones from the zip. make sure you backup the common_clothes.BNK. If you don't have a Red Rabbit helmet go to their clothing store and the 1st 15 or so helmets will be invisible. Download
  7. Check your PM! Was messing around more tonight and had an idea... would you like to be able to paint the rims the same color as the secondary color? When you go to the paintshop the wheels will change just like the body. If enough people like it I will include it as an option to download.
  8. nope :) Thanks! I don't have the patch though and all of the video's I've seen they still had helmets on.
  9. Thanks Djey! Check your PM. Here's a screenshot I took from the above vid showing the detail on the steering. I made the "showa" texture from scratch and the gauge & key area were taken from real pictures of a GSXR 1000. I found the Suzuki on the internets.
  10. Another vid of some new work: The pic attached shows nothing new on the bike... but :excited:
  11. The HUD in cockpit/rider view is awesome. The texture is high-res photo of an actual HUD. Too bad the digital speedo will not work though :(
  12. I tried many times to get the digital gauge working but no luck :( I'm trying to find a way to make the shift indicator work too. The shadow will be the last thing I work on as I never had luck with shadows. Rollingtheboy mentioned new textures on the handlebars, and I was thinking the same thing so the pics attached are what I have so far (all done tonight) Also, here is a quick vid of the most recent model. It JUST uploaded it so the quality should get better in an hour or two after it's finished processing. I know I still need to fix the name :P
  13. most recent beta pics. As you can see, I was really liking the black paint/black wheel combo tonight. I can feel it :monkeydance:
  14. A few new pics. Getting closer. Working on some gauge bugs and whatnot. :oook: Note that these pictures are taken with my mod profile, which opens in windowed mode with no AA and medium detail.

    Snow!

can you kill the snow for me? My computer doesn't like it. Thanks!
  16. Updated progress pics  Fixed rider position Paintable (this might be tricky to execute if it can't be built into the installer) made a horrible low poly version brake & headlights :monkeydance:
  17. Thanks everyone! To be honest, I like Kenny's exhaust more than my own. It has more detail. I'm sure there will be differences in our models, so maybe we'll both release a model and try to please many!
  18. Final pics for now! Totally custom Yoshi exhaust. Headlights/turn lights. Dynamic gauge cluster (not shown) :nanananana:
  19. Thanks! and good call about needing more gloss
  20. A few more new pics attached: 1. Brake lights work. 2. Wheels are almost done. 3. Disc brakes & sprocket are 100% polygon (original bikes use textures). I agree about the stock exhaust. I'll see what can be done. Maybe I'll start on the speedo stuff now.
  21. I too volunteered to try to convert the bike. I hope this doesn't create any hard feelings Kenny! I'm sure we can work together. Attached is what I have so far. Some of the parts are still from the MV Augusta (front fork/handle bars/wheel). I just started on the wheel which is why it looks goofy. edit: decided to throw on the exhaust before I go to sleep. 2 more pics.
  22. Dodge Challenger R/T Vehicle replaced: Chrysler 300C Converted by: dc300m02 Credits: 3D Model, Wheels & Interior - EA Special Features 1. High-res. 2. Rear wheels are bigger/wider than fronts. 3. Custom badging. Items still WIP: 1. COCK_LR 2. Headlights 3. Break light glow 4. Seatbelt (see pics below and you'll see what I'm talking about. 23. Sorry guys, filefront & rapidshare deleted the files and I don't have the originals anymore. HOWEVER... I do occasionally work on a model. :monkeydance: I don't know any of the new tricks though (shadows, ect). Nowhere near release though.
  24. I managed to move and add the road textures to new areas. Unfortunately the it just covered the land and was not smooth like the roads. It was just driving offroad. I did paint some offroad trails though and it turned out pretty good. Too bad I don't have the files anymore
