  1. This does suck that they are putting up links to "our" cars. However, unless you created every file in the BNK yourself (including the 3d model), we are just releasing modded Eden/Atari property, which is against the EULA. I haven't seen any credits going to Eden or Atari in our releases (mine included). So while these other forums are releasing our property with our modded files, we are releasing Eden & Atari's property first. Unless you can create a modded .btrq file, we are all guilty of releasing someone else's property. Just my thoughts. Keep on modding shark :thumbsup:

  5. New pics in the first post. I'm still working on the headlights & interior. The interior is not high poly, but it's the only one I have. The engine has to stay now because when I remove it, the game crashes. If I figure out how to remove it w/o killing the game, I will.
  6. You can draw anywhere on the island, and it will show up (found out the hard way, lol). The colors of the grass, dirt, ect are a normal .2db file that looks like a real aerial photo. There are about 62 of these images. What ever you put in these pictures will show up on the ground in game!

  8. The roads are not moddable at this time. The actual texture you see just sits over the actual smooth road. I can remove the whole road texture, but it will still behave as a road. I've tried to find a way to mod the actual land. No luck so far. It's NOT the normal .3dg used in the vehicle models. I've also tried modding the actual buildings, but they just turn invisible in game.

It will work with any paint color. This should be included in the next version
  14. Thank you for the feedback everyone. New version now available in first post. Fixes: 1. Hand position fixed. 2. Low-res textures should work now, except for the wheels. They are invisible (only low res) 3. Changed tubing color to be more realistic. 4. Now paintable. 5. Rear lights now there and work, but still need some tweaking. 6. Rear fenders now move with wheels. Added a MegaUpload link :thumbsup:

  16. You would need to move the 3d mesh AND the textures. Moving the 3d mesh requires ZModeler. The 3d mesh defines the shape of the wheel, the texture just adds texture/color to the 3d mesh. If you only move the texture & not both, the new wheel will look horrible.
  17. Thanks guys! The Beta may be available soon just to get some feedback. I have a lot of fun driving this car in cockpit view. Even though the interior is not an atom interior, it still works! Check the first post for new pics.
  18. Just some updates. I fixed a few texture issues and started on the interior. Eventually I'd like a full ariel atom interior, but for now I just modded the Caterhams to fit right. I also have to do the lights and some other minor things before I release it.
  19. Assuming you're playing on a pc, that is the speed that you're head will turn when you press the turn head button. You can only change it in cockpit & hood view I believe.
  20. Forget the "r" part. If someone who was able to download both versions wants to zip them and send them to me I can upload them. no one can open my zipped or rar'ed files.
