  1. I really, really, really, really, really hope this list is incomplete. I've played TDU1 since the day it was released nearly 4 years ago, and still regularly play it, and have been waiting for TDU2 for years too but this is so disappointing that I've cancelled my pre-order. I might reconsider buying it if Lamborghini's are added as a DLC, particularly an LP640, but until that time i'm not buying it.

  2. ;341637']A group of Russain spammers (from the "USSR"? :cheeky: ) posted about ten pages worth of threads back in 2008 saying, in short, that they were angry and Atari should release DLCs/patches. The mods were deleting them nonstop until they finally got a hold of the spammers.

hehe yeah i remember that. Good ol' times of uncertainty...
  3. DJ Atomica
On one hand i love the idea of a radio host woven through the game and all the fun little things they can do with that...but on the other hand i thorougly hate Dj Atomica for being such a lousy, cheap, poorly done ripoff of Lazlow Jones (GTA), who, unlike Atomica, isn't fictional but an actual real world radio host.
  4. ;341476']You want to really mess with your mind? Play the game itself. Every third song is "Paradise City." It's okay in the beginning, but after a while you have to mute it. :cheeky:

Yeah i know, i got this phone when i played Burnout Paradise...that's what gave me the inspiration

Didn't play burnout long enough for it to get annoying, but i do remember it playing all the damn time in the game. Though on my cellphone i only ever hear the first 20 seconds or so before i answer the call and that's the part i like best haha

  5. That's why I've never managed to actually play it....

Woah that video borked my mind! When the music in that video started i grabbed my cellphone and tried to answer it...when there was nobody on the other side i realised the music came from the video... I have "Guns N' Roses - Paradise City" as my ringtone lol

  6. For your information, as you seem rather categoric, some PC games are able to detect if you get a console pad like xbox360 and display different key bindings (e.g. Race Driver GRID).
Of course (just like it can detect a G25 for example), but does that also actually change such messages? I guess it's possible, though it seems odd :)

But i'll leave it for someone who actually has experience with console controllers on PC games...anyone can confirm they've seen such messages change in a PC game? :)

There's no OK, CANCEL, or ANY key on a keyboard either, so your point is invalid :)
    "Any key" isn't a key...it's any key :p

And i've never been asked to press the Ok or Cancel button unless there's a button onscreen you can click with your mouse (or if a button has specifically been assigned to be those things) :)

It's beta, and it's likely a loose translation - Quality Control comes through later. No point arguing about something we're not supposed to have seen anyway :p
Of course, it's not a finished product yet so anything could happen, and it really doesn't matter much :)
  7. I have. It certainly is for PC because you can see the mouse in the video.
I think it's console actually. There is no such thing as a start button on a keyboard, nor onscreen.

And there being a mouse cursor doesn't mean much. I've seen mouse cursors in console game menus. I've never owned a console (PC ftw!), but the few times i've played console games at friend's i've seen mouse cursors (i was surprised too the first time hehe) so it can't be all that rare either.

lots of games(basically poor PC ports) hay a press star button on they first screen, NFS:Shift, i think NFS:Undercover has it too.
No they don't. They have "Press Enter" screens.

But "press Start to play" is completely a console thing. I've never seen that in any PC game, unless there was actually a start button onscreen to click on with the mouse (and even then it usually says click, not press). In PC games those lines always use "any key" or sometimes space bar or enter, but never Start since there is no such button on a keyboard.

  8. You missed a key part of what Diablo said;

"Due to the handling of the game"

It wasn't entirely a real world comparison.

What's the whole point of the new handling system then? They've been going on and on and on about how the new handling model was necessary for the cars to better reflect their real world characteristics (compared to eachother; no i did not say be more realistic by itself).
  9. Due to the handling of the game the Veyron if in (ie confirmed) would not be a great handler due to it's weight and AWD. Not as sharp as say the Pagani Zonda Cinque.
That's not exactly true. Although it's true that it's not as sharp as the lighter supercars, you really should not underestimate it. It's still one of the fastest supercars out there, even around corners. And very easy to drive while at it. Only the the best of the very best are faster, and only just...that means a lot.

Anyway, it's probably been said before, but i think the car on the cover is a Veyron Bleu Centenaire, not just a "normal" Veyron.

  10. one is a country, one is a continent.
When did America become a country? It's a continent. Yeah yeah yeah i know, America is often synonymous to the USA.

Either way, it doesn't matter at all for my reply. Whether it's a village, a city, a country, a continent or an entire planet, Europe has over twice as many people...i'd say that makes it a bigger market.

  11. Perhaps it's worth adding the Bugatti Veyron (Bleu) Centenaire to the list?

    Confirmation: http://cdon.fi/pelit/test_drive_unlimited_2-8797881

And i think the car on the new cover image is actually the Bleu Centenaire edition, not a normal Veyron.

    correct

I'll shut up if fanbois stop the 'plz m5 m3 x5 in tdu2' and everyone will be happy

Yeah it's annoying that people keep asking about it, but this has nothing to do with BMW in specific, it happens for every desirable brand for which there's doubt it'll be in. And it's not going to stop no matter what you say, so you might as well stop complaining because your annoying complaining about the complaining is driving me to complain about your complaining about the complaining. You're not making it any better.
  12. Here's another one for The Netherlands:

    pc: http://www.freerecordshop.nl/pc_dvd/test-drive-unlimited-2

    PS3: http://www.freerecordshop.nl/playstation_3/test-drive-unlimited-2

    XBOX360: http://www.freerecordshop.nl/xbox_360/test-drive-unlimited-2

Also their is alot more americans to complain,so it would make sense to satisfy the largest market first.
When did THAT happen? Last time i checked the US had a population of around 309 million people, and europe well over 730 million.
  13. And I know for sure they'd put in the newprices. If they use secondhand prices, an SLR had to cost maybe half of what it costs in TDU1.
You're making one vital mistake. An SLR is brand new. In TDU1 there's the dealerships where you get modern, current cars, and then there's the classics dealers. In the dealerships with modern, current cars you get brand new cars and pay brand new prices. In the classics dealers you get second hand cars and pay second hand prices (some cars went up in price, others went down).
